  1. they've also announced that the 60gb version will be phased out... something tells me they over allowed features in the PS3 pricing themselves out of the game, and opening too many avenues to be hacked/exploited.
  2. get P1 to get it as their "ah crap I've got 1 point to last me a week" car.
  3. i dunno... I don't mind the GTR wing on the GTSt... as long as the end caps don't say GTR Hell I run a GTR front bumper on my GTS4... which I reckon is far better looks and ventilation-wise than a GTSt bumper, but it doesn't mean I think my car is a GTR. hehe might tell him to ebay the sucker That thing added about 10kw to his pushy.
  4. yeah... 4 different locknuts FTW failing that 4 different wheels so they'll never wanna steal em.
  5. Bec in case you miss the other thread, can you bring the badge to the meet tonight?
  6. tie some bells to strings and run them around your car. if you hear bells jingling in the middle of the night, go out with your best golf driver and share some of the festive spirit.
  7. see link in sig
  8. he's dangerous enough on four wheels let alone three.

    For Kevwrx;

that's disneyland in france I think... I remember seeing that in person. farkin amazing.
  10. seen plenty of LHD R32's but only ever heard on one R33... could be wrong. Apparently the Nissan Bluebird dash is the one to use.
  11. lies! you're not that bad a driver.
  12. afaik its just a fuel and ignition cut at over 180km/h
  13. Need to get a new key cut as I only ever got one key for my car and constantly live in fear of losing it one day. I came across this guy based in ACT (http://www.keys4classics.com) who does code based key cuts using 300ZX lookalike blanks (Z32, R32, S13, A31 etc all use the same key shape... the code is X followed by some numbers). Basically this gurantess a perfect fit for the lock, and means that any defects on your existing key aren't carried over to the new key because its not copied directly. Now this guy charges about $25 all up for two keys... does anyone know any other place that offers alternative key designs and can do code based cuts... or any places that can do them cheaper? Someone told me that Nissan do free code based cuts if you gave them a key about 10 years ago... do they still offer that service?
  14. The thought did cross my mind when it started flashing "danger to manifold".
  15. Geoff's purple R33 GTR spent a fair bit of time at Benno's getting tuned n stuff. Might be referring to that. back on topic, if whoever buys it retains the original parts, toys with it, then puts them back on when reselling, I'd consider that fair. Its the old arguement in the classic car community where some people will ONLY put correct period parts in their cars, and others will rejuvenate the older parts with better items, but still maintain the car's heritage and appearance.
  16. yeah they got the gayest possible remote central locking systems (meh early 1990's tech) as factory options... no immobiliser though. as standard R32's don't even have door lock solenoids on the driver side, only the passenger side, so you have to install one along with the alarm to get all the doors to lock.
  17. exactly what sort of kit are you after?
  18. only momentarily till their passenger side floorwell comes apart at the welds, flies free and chops someone's head off.
  19. for real? I pulled one off my car n gave it to my newphew to use on his pushbike. dunno why you'd put nismo badges on your car if it wasn't a Nismo edition or a Nismo build of some sort... its like a commodore driver putting HSV badges on his standard commy.
  20. isnt that also the world's only LHD R33 GTR?
  21. actually i thought obasan meant aunt or something, not grandma, but in the context of a bike rider it was the type of people who cut across you with no warning? Kinda like the "you drive like an old woman" thing in english. meh I'm probably wrong, japanese doesn't seem to be my forte.
  22. mexcellent... that's 1 whole years worth of parallel import GTR's I sense dejavu from the S15 and Civic Type R.

  24. dunno if removing the front reo is such a good idea, as its there to absorb hits so your chassis doesn't bare the brunt of a frontal. but other than that that list sounds awesome way of goin about it. how far you wanna go really depends on how much of a daily drivable street car you wanna keep it. I've found factory GTR rims to be the best value for money, as they're about 6 or 7 kgs a corner and really cheap compared to wheels sold as lightweight rims.
  25. high revs are for small displacement honda's... see if you can make more torque out of the RB25 down low in the RPM. But if you want to rev higher you'll need to remove the rev limiter on the ECU using either a cut defender or a modded ECU. You'll also have to make sure your engine and cooling can support higher revs.
