Hypothetical - What Kit Would You Want Copied

^^^ This. It's actually easier than fibreglass when you get the hang of it. Hard part is matching up the different plastics. -
I've got a stack of SD cards, picked up 20 512mb ones for like $20 off fleabay. They're slow class 1 or 2 SD's but fuck, all they do is hold MP3's. Takes up little space and easy as to put music onto and you can leave it in your car. That way I have a different SD for different genres etc.

lawl. I know a mob in China that will copy anything with no regard for copyright, and all their stuff is plastic. They make the kits for Wald. Costs are: USD$18,000 to set up a mould USD$500 per kit (Front/sides/rear) Minimum order 300 kits. So if we get 168 buyers at $1000 a full kit we should break even. -
got one for the golf too during their Black Friday sale thing. lol @ local shops, even with their christmas sale couldn't match it. Only sucky part is that the US uses some homo Digital Radio frequency, whereas Australia uses a good quality frequency with a higher sample rate... which means buying digital radio tuners from the US isn't gonna work So it's never actually flown then?

Best Car For Personal Import

If you're gonna stick to Japanese cars get a tuner special like the Mugen CRX or Nismo Micra or Impul Gloria etc. Something that won't be importable under RAWS and isn't supplied by local dealers. How about a Mitsuoka? Somewhere around the late 90's people realised it was what happened when you took the worst bits of an american muscle car body and a japanese engine and mashed em together. I'm genuinely surprised Chrysler didn't convince Mitsi to chuck in a solid rear axle. -
How did you survive this long without any of those? I mean, stock suspension for superior acceleration, but no hicas lock or sways? them's cheap easy first mods mang.

A lot changes in 3 years. Nowadays guys are willing to import VW Sciroccos and Maserati 4200GT's. That said, you need to find a spec of a Euro model that wasn't sold locally, one that's highly sought after but not brought into the country because local dealers were too limp wristed to risk bringing in and not being able to move. Otherwise it's not really worth it. The Audi RS3 is a perfect example, you can buy an A3 or S3 locally, so it's ineligible for import, but there's plenty of guys willing to buy an imported model. Same goes for Citroen DS3 Racing. The other side of the coin is the BMW 116D, rated as one of the world's most fuel efficient cars, but not available in oz. Even some specs of the Ford Mondeo released in the UK aren't available in oz (not that you should buy one). Some of these work their way to Japan as imports. -
too bad you can't buy or sell cars to save your life. douchebag

Screw japanese cars. Pick up some RHD Euro's like an Audi RS3 and bring em in. In fact you can drive LHD in Perth can't you? The markup on Euro's in Australia is much much much more than povo japanese cars. Which means when you sell you stand to make more profit. Combine with the fact that some Euro specs aren't officially sold locally (like the RS3) but can't be imported either under RAWS and you'll have a very very limited availability car that you can command retarded amounts of money for. Plus when you break into the Euro market you're dealing with guys with a tidy disposable income, not people after bang for buck like with japanese cars. The trick is to find a cheap, relatively new, RHD Euro in Japan. They're usually LHD. -
So where would this sea be located?

lol after posting I was gonna quote my own post with that image. FML. Virgin-Boy just bought himself a lulzban sometime in the future. *waits for critical time when he posts something for sale*

haha I actually made the website for TRD and some other branches of Toyota a few years ago, so when I was having specification meetings with their managers I kept calling it Turd for lulz. Eventually one of em took the bait and lashed out. Was good fun. They let me "test drive" their TRD Aurion and Hilux. TRD Hilux is instant pants party time, but they didn't like it when I told em my old man's 18 year old stock ceffy was faster, roomier and better equipped than their Aurion masterpiece. On the way back from the test drive I hopped in the ceffy and the mechanic in the aurion, and for shits n giggles I gave it a squirt and beat him by a car length. Oddly they never brought it up again.

fuck off. I've owned 2 MR2's. the first was a supercharged AW11 while you were still suckin on your momma's teat and then when the 15 year rule kicked in back in 2005(?) I bought an SW20 GTS. SW20 handled like a bag of dicks, even with all the TRD suspension on it, and I actually preferred the AW11 compared to that cramped up excuse for a shopping trolley. Toyota totally bitched out with the second gen MR2. First gen was half decent, simple suspension layout, simple engine layout, no spooling of turbos or any predictability issues due to non linear power delivery, was awesome to drive on the limit and through the twisties. Compared to that the SW20 was just made for fat fucker white guys in the UK and US who couldn't afford a 911.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Rear_mid-engine,_rear-wheel_drive_vehicles mind you, the only car in that list that handles like a bag of dicks is the MR2. Mostly thanks to its transversely mounted engine, which is exactly what happens when you drive a civic really fast in reverse while facing the wrong way.
