  1. Forklift engines are tuned for torque rather than power, so you won't go fast
  2. you guys should have RD24DE's (2.4L diesel out of patrols) and RB24S (2.4L Carby out of Altima/Maxima) engines floating around eastern europe. Dunno about RB30's.
  3. sure they are... they made R33's didn't they?
  4. Looks like a bastard child of a threesome between a toyota sera, a renault megane and honda hybrid.
  5. was talking to the guys from Meridien and they were saying something about premade bars for R33's and R32's, which may be cheaper. Think They were quoting around 2000 or 2500 for a basic 6 point CAMS legal cage. They're heavily overbooked though.
  6. I was playing can ball right about where your car's parked in that photo last week... Wayne throws like a girl... but he does some good compliance
  7. if its in a street race, then i'll have to ban you for discussing illegal activities if its in a track race, then it depends on what's been done to the car, if its stock, then refer to factory specs if its looking pretty... i dunno, you tell me, what looks prettier, the hippo or the whale?
  8. pretty much all skylines that were sold in "snow spec" ie meant for use in snowy areas etc came with a red foglight instead of one reverse light.
  9. is that the prince skyline gallery or a different one? http://www.prince-skyline.com
  10. 52,000? sneh... i challenge the legitimacy of that figure prankeh... ftp user/pass pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze
  11. oh yeah... giggity giggity! that did the trick... "add to sent items" checkbox checked by default now. wierd how its not an option in the settings to just enable it.

  13. hmm i think i enabled it last time by hacking the templates... i'll have a look n see if I can do it agian
  14. here's mine sporting a GTR front bumper with the N1 "speed holes"... fits perfect, but its a fibreglass copy that's been modified to fit up perfectly on a GTS/GTSt or in my case a GTS4 bumper support.
  15. haha i thought your numberplate said heezy, like ken hell's character.
  16. if you've got all the GTSt parts, maybe score an R32 GTS or auto GTSt sedan of some sort and swap all the parts in, rather than dealing with the headaches of a AWD drivetrain and chassis.
  17. No. The GTS4 has the same front reinforcement as a GTSt. The GTR front reinforcement bar is wider, for a wider bumper, which fits up to wider guards. If you put a factory GTR bumper on a GTSt or GTS4, you'll need to flex it to fit it on. I've never seen someone who's mounted a factory GTR bumper on thei GTSt or GTS4 or GTS that hasn't had visibile flexing and gaps.
  18. yeah the only time you'd have to touch the needle was if you were gonna put some sort of EL sheet or something on the gauge itself.
  19. vancouver is exactly like melbourne. sydney reminds me of seattle. lol move to brisbane if you want a change of scene. If I were you I'd sell your 89 GTR before moving to australia. there's absolutely no point as our streets are overflowing with 89's n 90's. If you can buy a 92 model car, own it for a year and bring it over and sell it for good money, then buy your R34 or Chaser or S15 or whatever else grabs your fancy... I'd suggest an NSX... something you can get over there cheap under the 15 year rule that you can't over here.
  20. yes and no. the rear is all the same. the fornt is different. the chassis is totally different to an R32 GTS or GTSt... its actually the same chassis as a GTR. The hub assemblies that bolt up to the fornt allow for front drive shafts, whereas the GTSt ones dont. The rails have a kink in them to allow for these drive shafts as well, which might mean that GTSt hubs may bnot bolt up so easily. I haven't heard of anyone doing it as the GTS4 chassis is heavier than a GTSt one, so its kinda pointless. Find out if and how anyone's fitted a RWD front assembly to a GTR and you'll have your answer.
  21. don't mean to steal your wtb, but if anyone's got only the little plastic tab that slides into the sunvisor, I need one.
  22. adam newton's car. should be ripping up a few tracks now that its all done: <shameless advertising> the original of the bodykit is now for sale... for less than the cost of a copy... see sig for details </shameless advertising>
  23. I met campbell when he was still building up the car... he was sayin something about some dodgy russians who had screwed him over with the buildup. in fact I think one of our cars has his old red leather interior in it still... from memory he was running a stroked 25. although that was a few years ago, he could have changed the engine now.
  24. you'll get a noticable gap (to skyline owners anyways) in front of your headlights where the bar flexes the most so that the sides can mount up. you can buy fibreglass GTR bar lookalikes that have been custom moulded to fit the narrower GTS/GTSt/GTS4 front, and don't leave gaps. Or you could upgrade your guards and bumper support to genuine GTR items and also get a flush fit using a genuine GTR bumper.
