  1. spotted a white r33 gtst at mt ainslie yesterday around 12 noon-ish.
  2. I can still get you guys the kits, but I've asked Jaycar to credit me for the ones that haven't been sent out... I assumed you'd all want refunds by now. I'll talk to them on Tuesday (in canberra atm sittin in an internet cafe) when I get back to melbourne, and let you know what the deal is.
  3. nice town you got here... spotted a burgandy R33 last night at about 11ish on commonwealth av. I was in my dad's black ceffie. passing thru canberra from syd. decided to stay a few days in Kingston. so where you all at? there's so few imports here... and everyone drives riced up celica's??? wtf.
  4. huh? Sorry guys, been off SAU for a while, but I thought I sorted out all the HyperRev orders already. Ronin was the last one from memory still waiting on his, and I delievered them by hand to his house. If anyone's still waiting on their order, please let me know. I do have a stack from the last order where I pre-ordered them and people didn't come thrugh...
  5. hi guys... ok before you assemble the lynch mob, its the first time I've been on SAU since earlier this year... been overseas workin and all. anyways, I'll be sorting out refunds to those of you who haven't recieved what you ordred. I know a couple of you got most of the stuff you ordered except for the boost controller, so I'll sort out a refund on that as well. Wish I could've stayed on top of this group buy but unfortunately my locations didn't exactly let me be in control of what was happening. Anyways, this will probably be the last jaycar GB I organise. As it is, I've lost money on this group buy, but I'll hassle Jaycar for it as it was because of their disorganisation. Those of you guys who are still waiting on items, if you can PM me, then I'll sort out however much I owe you. Again, apologies for not stayin on top of this.
  6. the guys at drag tag have put together a small skidpan of sorts at the back of the facility with barricades and fences for the crowds to get in close but still stay safe... with the prospect of getting more motorsport events happening on their premises (*cough* motorkhana *cough*). I think it used to be a carpark, but there's been some work done including a bigass swining gate to let cars into "the cage". The guys at driftline were invited to test out the skidpan after its completion... we also went out for a private test drive on it on tuesday night before this event, and its actually quite decent... and not too far out of the city, unlike other skidpans. Hai Boss Number 1. Rosh needs lessons on drifitng
  7. rofl... what did you use to clean your passage? a vaccumn cleaner? You need to shop for other types of paper to use on your passage.
  8. NAB graduate intake for this year finished in September last year
  9. you guys shoulda just said "dead bodies and cocaine" basically its most of the under-bonnet electrics to do with the battery and fusebox, the top of your fuel tank, and a HICAS and ATTESA unit, depending on the model of your car.
  10. Nissan patrols came with RD28 engines, which are very similar to RB's except they run diesel... they can be turbo'd to make some decent power. The alternative is to put any RB engine in to make some wicked power. Its a relatively simple swap. Hell I even had a Nissan Patrol clutch in my R32 at one stage god bless common parts.
  11. How do you know about our shallow graves? Who ahve you been talking to? Was it Tony? I don't let people in my car unless I know em... I also don't let excessively drunk people in my car, even if I know em, unless they're really in a pickle. A mate an I offered a lift to these two girls years ago, and after being held up with a blood loaded needle, that was the last time anyone we didn't know got in our cars. Mate's car was hijacked and crashed a lil later... dunno if I'd have picked em up if I was in my car, but the experience is definitely enough to change your outlook on helping people. I tend to only help the really old people these days... they're the only ones you can sorta trust.
  12. sucks coming from a country that's not known for anything other than tea and cricket hey? Altho of late when talking to some of the yanks who work with our partner companies that they recognise Sri Lanka fromt he Tsunami thing. one of my mates who grew up in the US commented that 95% of geography and history taught to kids in american schools is only to do with america. Whereas we got taught all sorts of cool shit like medieval history, the roman empire, rise n fall of general mao, about all the countries, their features, and all the cool shit from there etc. I'm blaming it on their education system...
  13. Moved event discussion to general section in its own thread so we don't whore up the events section. Enjoy.
  14. yeah its in the mail for you dude... its the green one with silvia written on it in the pic. You should have it on monday seeing as you're in VIC too.
  15. haha you two went cruising for ho's after the meet?
  16. ooo so you'd be a gun fibreglasser
  17. I think some of us who worked at 500 collins used to dispise you 333 collins people for some reason... this was years ago, and I can't remember what the beef was all about.
  18. database development/programming... the most boring job ever. Think I need a change in IT field. I also work for J-Spec Imports doing web development (basically getting and processing all the data needed for them to sell the cars). Guess it pays the bills
  19. Just got back from poker night... apologies to the fellas I led to Taco Bills... they closed the kitchen at 9 so we just went home. Maybe next meet we have we make a reservation somewhere and go from there. Also I don't think I'd be too keen on a thursday meet as we didn't have enough time after to get some good poker happening. Anywho, was nice to meet you guys, some new faces... for those that missed the intro's when team J-spec rocked up: Silver Stagea - Viddles Kakimoto Widebody R33 - Craig Gunmetal R33 GTSt - Russell Widebody Lexus GS400 - Ben Black R32 GTS4 - me and Wayne from GT-Auto in the Mitsubishi Jeep and Chance if you're reading this... I want those pics you took!
