  3. Below are the simple rules for the use of the Cefiro Parts For Sale section. Any users that choose to ignore the rules as below will either have their posts or threads removed/edited, or may receive a warning. Once a certain warning level has been reached, a user will be banned for 2 weeks. If a further ban is incurred through the warning system, a permanent ban will contracted. THE DO'S AND DONT'S OF THE SAU CLASSIFIEDS! Sellers 1. When starting a new thread, you must include a set price, or at the very least a ballpark figure that you are looking for. EOI's are not permitted 2. Clearly state the type of item you are selling, the condition of the item, important details like modifications, kms etc, your location and contact details 3. No continuous thread bumping! - If you insist on continually bumping your thread, your bumps will be deleted and if it continues, you will receive a warning from moderators. One bump every 24 hours is permitted. 4. Do not repost your For Sale thread! - Edit your old thread if details change, and bump your old one instead. We don't want 5 different threads that could potentially confuse buyers and make a deal go sour. 5. Post photos! - Where possible, add images to your post. This is by far the best way to show off your item and give any potential buyers the best indication as to items condition etc. Posting photos will also cut out the "pics please" comments and help you to sell your item faster Click here for a tutorial on how to post photos on SAU 6. No posting on behalf of others! - If your mates want to advertise their items here on SAU, tell them to register - If you dont own it, dont post it for sale. Buyers Recently, moderaters have been deleting too many stupid posts in the for sale section and as such, the following now apply: 1. Absolutely no "Free Bumps" or "Nice car wish I could afford it" comments - If you like what you see and you wish to compliment the seller, send them a pm Only post on the thread if you have a genuine question or are genuinely interested in the items being offered for sale 2. No price debates - put simply if you do not agree with the price being asked, do not comment on the thread. If you believe the seller is asking too much then either pm the thread starter or dont buy the items advertised - simple. There is to be no "My cousin can get it for much less" or "Your asking too much" comments Again comments such as the above will be deleted and if users persist in posting such comments, a warning will be issued 3. Lastly, in light of recent dodgy traders that have popped up, if you see a user or thread that you think is suspicious, pm a moderator or report the post immediately!! - Dont start throwing accusations around. Please consult the bad traders list before handing over any money! These rules are here to ensure a safe and enjoyable trading environment for all users so please respect the rules and enjoy the forums.
  4. order has been made, payment has been made, just waiting on supplier to call and say the stuff's been sent gettin annoying now having to wait this long.
  5. I'd say next to none. If you were comparing a Blitz, ARC, HKS etc intercooler to a cheapie then there's a world of difference from flow to fit... but a Hybrid is pretty much the same as a cheapie as far as I can tell. They're made in pretty much the same factories, using the same processes, with the same designs. One just gets marketed through a brand, the other is sort of a parallel import. All the cheap chinese (and I include Hybrid in this category, even though they are priced high) intercooler kits come with shoddy clamps and thin silicone tubes and stainless pipes that don't inspire confidence. At least with a cheapie you can say "hey I didn't pay so much for it, so I can't expect much".
  6. we just had a coincidental meet in burwood at the carwash near VICroads today... we just all happened to be washing our cars at the same time. I'm stayin in dandy these days. we're having a breakfast of champions meet up north tomorrow at 9/10am in mill park.
  7. dunno dude, that's the first time i've come across it. Its probably just a custom jobby... I just got Craig the Aristo Hyperrev mags (vol 1 and 2) so maybe ask him to flick thru em to see if its listed in there. Evo 3's share the same chassis/shape as a locally sold lancer, with the only difference being bolt on flares etc to the body of the car (disregarding the drivetrain). One of the requirements for a car to be eligible for import is that it must be of a different silhouette to locally sold variants (so for example Altezza wagon could be eligible for import because they never sold the IS200/IS300 in a wagon shape here). For cars that come in under SEVS the guys usually quote a "landed and complied" price, which includes all fees, taxes and costs to have the car complianced and ready to register. The only costs on top of that you'll incur is the cost of new tyres and brake pads etc if the ones on your car aren't deemed satisfactory by the compliance workshop, and registration costs in your state (which vary from state to state). You'd be best off using our online calculator, should show you generally how much to expect to pay for a car landed and complied, if you plug in the initial price of the car in japanese yen: http://www.j-spec.com.au/calculator.xls
  8. http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/10/31/hon...nt-d-drift-car/ .... lol "the racing sport of drifting". novel idea before guys did it in Toyota Estima's (tarago's) and Nissan Homy vans...
  9. i suspect its a case of \n\n being sent by the browser instead of \r\n

  11. to speed up the performance of the forums, some database results (ie search results) are cached... although I'm fairly sure its not for an hour though. edit: However, I just replied to this thread then hit view new posts and it was the first result that showed up.
  12. I used a one of these... finest mesh I could find, and strong enough to resist bending even when hit by big rocks.
  13. hey justin... how'd you find the mould fit next to the trans tunnel on the driver side, just in front of the seat? The GTR's and GTS4's have a lump there from the tunnel being wider for the front driveshaft... the GTS's and GTSt's don't have that lump... wonder if they have two different moulds or if its a negligible difference that it dosent matter?
  14. have handbrake. will pivot.... alhough I've got an AWD myself. and what's with skidpan being wet? here's the SAU VIC vs WRX Club motorkhana days we held in melb for the last year... (think there's been 6 so far)... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=107290 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=110314 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=119839 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=105198 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=116960 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=131862
  15. lol I knew the mods would jump all over this thread once the saw the title, esp after our lil "crusade against porn on SAU"
  16. happy birthday fatboi!
  17. lol sorry, din mean to come across as being pissed off or anything... altho I did work out that if you buy em over the counter in japan you have to pay tax, wheras if you buy em from overseas its 2000Y. I sent an inquiry to HLJ to see how much their estimate is for a delivered mag. Still waiting.
  18. Thanks guys, the ones I just finished doing was a trial run (coz I've never shipped this many before)... and I can say it was a total success as far as costs and speed were involved. So now I can go ahead and do orders for guys outside melbourne as well. I'll start a new thread for it soon. PMing you details now
  19. 2100Y is the retail price of the mag in japan... so I dunno how they can sell em for 2000Y delivered to oz. But with the orders I did, it came to $40 delivered to oz and $5 internal delivery if you couldn't pick it up from me... the cheapest around that I could find was $55 something delivered. I'm not doing this as a business, I really cbf, so I'm not in it for profit. I was doing the regular order of mags that I do every month and thought others might wanna buy stuff too, and share the cost of shipping from japan. By all means, if you can get em cheaper go for it Less hassle for me.
  20. as far as stickers are concerned you can get the emissions and tyre rating stickers from nissan for like 10 bucks for the pair. (if you wan "official stickers" w00t +10hp). Or your compliancer can make you up a set. Emissions sticker under the bonnet, tyre placard on the door jamb.... although these days the compliance plate is also a sticker.
  21. sometime the tyre placard can just wash off, because some workshops just print it on a A4 sheet on a bubblejust and just glue it on... but i've only ever seen this done on a 15yr old import where any monkey with a spanner can comply it... I'm yet to see a SEVS workshop though.
  22. well you could just come meet up with me n geoff tonight, if geoff dosen't mind?
  23. they have rubber grippy dots on the palm... hehe so cheap and tacky, but so JDM tyte yo! lol Although, I'm sorta over grazing knuckles while working on my car...
