  1. so we shave any facial hair off on the 29th of oct and grow it back in time for the party on the 30th or movember right? I hope they're havin a sexy party.
  2. have you got a pic of the rear now that the car's been painted... with the rear bumper attached as well?
  3. Hey felix is it going into this car still? http://forums.gtrcanada.com/viewtopic.php?t=6139
  4. same shit... different flavour. the more cars I see with the "omg hektik driftzor look" the more I care less for each variant... I'd personally go the vertex one, as its the original driftzor look, plus its the most subtle one that actually suits the car instead of making it looks like a S13 that look like an S14 that looks like a chaser that looks like and R34.
  5. Justin yeah they do some of em in 2 pieces if its hard to mould them around seat mounts etc. The 2 pieces overlap under the front seat usually. That's strange they do the R32 in 2 pieces though. As for getting straight black... i dunno if its such a good idea... i was considering it for mine, but the slightest bit of dust shows up on the black, wheras with grey its a lil harder to see.
  6. the last time the patch under my nose was shaved naked was back in 2002. Bring it on! Who's registering the SAU VIC team? But does the goatee count as a mo? ...as its part of a bigger picture.
  7. weight difference between R32 GTR and R33 GTR wheels?
  8. ooo forbidden fruit... lol I'll have a look to see why its kickin up a fuss.
  9. Hmm not actually sure... its the non VCT RB25DE I think out of a 1993 R33 GTS25. As for the mirrors you'd have to ask gaf about it.
  10. ummm... there's no such thing as a JDM tyte Honda in Australia, they're almost all domestics (with the exception of the Hybrid cars, but they're hardly the pinnacle of style or power). JDM means Japanese Domestic Market (ie a car sold originally in Japan). You can't import any honda's yet (you'll be able to import the EK9 Civic Type R soon once compliance workshops can comply them). Until then, enjoy lookin out for those clean, good AUDM honda's.
  11. Did you blow another engine Felix? Gary's got the knowhow and the experience behind his work, so you're guranteed good results. I'd recommend him to anyone... but then again given his interests and work he'd be quite busy, so be understanding. although I dunno if I'd recommend you to him
  12. lol that's gaffa's old car. aaaaah many a fond memory of that car, its original engine, and its single spinning diff He put a lot of work into that car, the interior etc. I even remember the day he slaved in the hot sun pulling those Kakimoto rims apart to get them powdercoated and polished up. Congrats
  13. Thanks guys for the quick payment. I've been given 3rd of Nov to 10th of Nov as an estimate on arrival (apparently the GT-R one... Vol 109... is on order from the publisher so has delayed things a lil). Sorry about the delays guys.
  14. they trim to the size of their mould, which is usually about 1cm oversized. when you put it in your car you have to trim it to size using a heavy duty blade. The edging isn't really hemmed or anything, just like the original, as its all supposed to tuck in under trim panels and so on. They do some in 2 pieces like the RX7, and some as singles.
  15. I've got a 2 door GTS4... when looking for one in japan last year (I specifically wanted a GTS4) I found that the coupe's were rarer than the 4 doors as the sedans were sold and bought in large quantities by families living in snowy regions (where you'd need AWD). I wouldn't consider them rare by a long shot. The 4 door Autech GT-B's which were based on a 4 door GTS4 chassis on the other hand is a rare find. That said 9 out of 10 of GTS4s I found had pretty bad rust due to salt on roads n snow sitting between panels... So chances are most of the GTS4's (esp 4 doors) won't be eligible to come into Australia.... so no threat of em becoming common. I ended up finding a GTS4 owned by a dude in tokyo that hadn't been used in the snow and was pretty happy with its condition.
  16. ooo laurel dash what did you do with the extra switches on the cef dash that you don't have on the laurel?
  17. if its less than 3 inches, its a polished lip, not dish.
  18. They're Racing Sparco's sold by Crimson Inc, manufactured at Asahi Tec's factory. Asahi make a lot of the "made in japan" wheels.
  19. Just got word that some books will be sent off from Japan tomorrow by EMS, so should get em here in melb in the next 5 days. ATM I've just done the orders for the guys in melbourne: Jamezilla kasanoff GTRGeoff phunky monkey crack once their order arrives I'll send the rest of you guys PMs about payment details etc for a second run.
  20. You know R33's are fast getting into that category. You can import an early S1 R33 GTSt for about 8k to 9k. Then all your average ricer has to do is put some very readily available bolt ons, a fully sick flutter uleh blow off valve and instant import ricer. May not be common in other states, but in Melbourne its rampant, with VL commies giving way to R33 coupes with highlighter pen inspired paint jobs and big zorsts, shiny coolah and dose'in BOV's. That in my eyes is rice... and all on a good performance car. Totally breaks all the stereotypes of rice.
  21. yeah guards are easy enough to take off... i took mine off the other day to fit the alarm n stuff, but if I had realised the hinge was only $25 from nissan then I would have done it all in one go.
  22. get it done in the next couple of days and I'll bring it up to sydney for you in my car they're only down the road from where I am.
  23. factory vortex generators.... and lots of em!
  24. an emergency over a smiley? maybe I should fix that link so I could use it in response to that statement.
