  1. you have to cut away part of the inner guard, and part of the guard underneath, and fabricate a new innerguard so the wider wheel dosen't scrape on anything. the widebody guard goes right up to where the boot joins the guard, the point where the roof meets the body on the c pillar, and wraps just inside the door jam in front (so that there's no obvious joins when you look at the doorline) and at the back goes to the tail light. If you do it properly it makes a totally seamless blend.
  2. send pics to dr drift and ask him if he can retune em (from memory I don't think so) but yeah, so much easier and better to go with PFC.
  3. I don't think there is... unless you set the max idle time to however long you want, and then just put the sensitivity to max, so it thinks you need max idle all the time regardless of how hard you've driven it. 2 days to go people... the numbers look promising.
  4. you should heard my NA RB20DE without the extractors on... pwoaaah. ways to make your car lumpy (note: these methods can also be used to kill your engine) use ultra low octane fuel... esp if its from Woolworths/Safeway petrol stations and the indian (hey... I'm allowed to say that) the counter has watered it down for the day remove AFM from car... spray the sensor with thick cooking oil... put it back in put hole in intercooler/put in leaky gaskets on intake/BOV play wheel of fortune with your ignition timing rmove some teeth from your timing belt that should keep you occupied for a while.
  5. easily my old R32 GTS... now owned by SAM112 and she's made it look MINT!
  6. they are brackets for the GTR grille. you can put them on any R32 headlight (GTR and GTSt are the same). sell those brackets to someone with a 1989 to 1991 poverty model headlight so that they can flog em off for big money as "OMG N1 Headlights! Wow!"
  7. lol I wouldn't have mentioned it if he din say his brother in law was goin to canada... but seriously... 4 door R33's are cheap as these days to import.
  8. what chu talkin bout willis?
  9. happy birfday sammeh!
  10. For 10k you could most probably import yourself a nice, clean, newer NA R33 Sedan (might not be eligible though as it might not meet power to weight requirements... will have to double check). Failing that a turbo R33 sedan can be imported for sure, and no one ever bids on em at auction, so you'll get em dirt cheap. Hardly any R32 GTS25's came into the country under the old import scheme, so chances of finding one are rare, but they might still meet the power to weight requirements of SEVS, so you could always look at importing your own. Failing that, tell your step brother to bring back a car from canada (they still have the 15yr rule over there and can import a lot of nice stuff). Our canadian website should give you an idea of what they can get
  11. just finished doin this on my dad's ceffy (which also has the same button in a similar position). Made sure the switch only worked when the alarm was disabled by using an alternate earth signal (which I got from the ignition switch).

    2pac Fans?

I'm DJ'in on a radio show on wednesday, so I might play a pac song in memory... got any suggestions for good PG rated songs by him? Can't have any swearing... or very little swearing so if I get a censored version its not just a beat with beeps.
  15. how many pages is the japanese docs? I might be able to get em translated for you if there's not too much.
  16. oh yeah... Nissan's part number for alternator is 23100-59S01 (hitachi). But if you're ordering a Bosch replacement, then just use BXN1231.
  17. if it falls thru I'll take em.
  18. central 20's a tuning house in japan. Its just a stock ECU with some tweaks to suit your car (might be something as simple as a speed limit removal or fuel cut removal or it could be a whole new fuel map). Anyways, you'll need a full retune if you're goin with those mods to get the most out of them. If its retunable, and you can find someone to do it, use that. Otherwise turf it and get a PFC. Its not worth anymore than a stock ECU... actually might be worth less, coz the only use anyone will have for it is if they have the exact same mods as your car. http://www.central20.co.jp
  19. I hope you realise that my statement was dripping with sarcasm... as every assmonkey with an inkling of a concept of what drift might be now sports Koya Drifteks on their car.
  20. The only time I can think of where you'd need emissions data was if you were compliancing the car to meet Australian standards. In which case the data would be available from someone who provides RAWS (compliance workshops) with the necessary data to comply a test vehicle in order to get their compliance. try http://www.raws.com.au/Packages.asp They're not gonna give you this information for free, but it'll have all the info you need. Maybe organise a deal with them for just the emissions data (and not the impact testing and other ADR compliance data). You're from Finland aren't you?
  21. hmm watched it again closely... my bad... standard GTt bumper n wheels.
  22. dunno bout that... Jairus sold the black ceffy with a blown RB26 for 12k-ish, purely based on kudos it had earnt on the track and that it was ready to drift (as soon as you put a new engine in it). That car was uncomplied and unregged as well.
