  1. aww maaaan... I went through there and noone was around... pfft. Although I got stuck at the workshop for a while though, and could only go after 6.
  2. Basically to get the most out of your N/a you need to make sure it breathes better. So that means: Intake mods... don't be fooled into thinking a ram pod is the answer, better flow into a standard airbox will do for an N/A. I had a secondary air feed into my box with a Blitz filter and it worked well. Exhaust mods. On my N/A I had a set of fujitsubo stainless steel extractors, which were mandrel bent with equal length runners... flowed like a mofo. Also got tuffy's mufflers in epping to make up a 2.5" exhaust with a good resonator and muffler for me, so it wasn't loud, but flowed well. Get a good set of spark plugs, and have the car tuned on a dyno. Other things like regular service, oil changes, oil filter changes etc make the car run better. At the end of the day if you're restricted to an N/A... power to weight is king. Get yourself a nice VTEC CRX or civic or a corolla (maybe the classic AE86 if you absolutely need a RWD car or an imported AE111 Levin if you don't mind FWD) with VVT 1.6 N/A and you'll have a faster car than a heavier skyline, even if the engine is smaller. And with the fuel prices these days, a smaller engine is actually a good thing.
  3. anything yet daniel (oxford1327)?
  4. gonna drive through there on trade plates from the workshop to the office... hehe... should be fun. I'll make sure I activate the hydraulics in front of them maybe make it dance a little.
  5. should organise a DIY day for SAU VIC... the one we had in NSW was awesome.
  6. most of the stageas that have been imported are still sitting in car yards around the country. The majority are in QLD from what the compliancers have told me.
  7. Dane, bring the car down to driftline and we can chuck it up on the hoist and have the gearbox swapped over in no time if you want it done before DECA. I'm sure some of the jspec boys would help out too... and the monkeys at driftline who cahnge gearboxes pretty much every day on drift thrashed 180s. Should be able to organise it say late thursday or even friday night and then a cruise up to Shepp (seeing as driftline is off the Hume anyways)?
  8. yeah sounds like all the other "one careful lady owner highly modified 1989 R32 GTR's" in the market. Talk to the dad, and get a contrtact of sale signed by him.
  9. one of the SAU VIC members is a policeman Traffic branch too from memory... has a highly modified GTR
  10. thought diff ratios were common knowledge... one is for manual turbo boxes and the other is for auto boxes.
  11. CHECK OUT MAH SUBARU!!! DU DUTTU DO DU DOOO! VTEC kicked in y0
  12. i've done the security patch already... just haven't upgraded the version numbers... keeps the hackers guessing that way
  13. yeah you only have a gf with a equally suitable car. hopefully my car will be road registered by Sat, otherwise I'll be thurr on trade plates... so can I run in RWD class? I promise to keep the switch on "drift" mode and not "wangan warrior" mode. Only problem is my car's running really rich... hopefully by Sat I'll have had someone look at it. Geoff recommended advancing the timing.
  14. Always wanted a bumper sticker that said "yield bitches!"
  15. I agree with the above sentiments... When some monkey hit my car and pushed my rear bumper in the bumper itself didn't show much sign of damage, but when we pulled off the bumper it was clear the bumper support bar underneath (or reo) had to be replaced. Also with the bootlid, most times when you have a hit, the hinges never line up the same again... Take it to someone who knows about skyline repairs, and have them make up a quote for you. Most workshops will just gloss over it and you'll get a half done job. Hell... bring it down to driftline (0425855540) in campbellfield and we'll give you a nice quote to give their insurer (plus I think we've got a black rear bumper, support and bootlid that would bolt in). If you're not at fault the other party's insurer will send an assessor to assess the damage and talk to the workshop carrying out the repairs. This is done if the insurance company thinks that the quote is abnormally high. If they question why you have to use that specific repairer, just say that you don't trust other repairers to do as good a job and that they are unfamiliar with R34's.
  16. ahh but we run SAU as an interest... not as a means of income. Whatever we do for SAU has to be done in our spare time. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of that. I just got back from a couple of weeks off and had 300 admin PM's to respond and sort out. Guys, just be a little more patient. Neil or Christian will get around to responding when they get a chance.
  17. I've already got some very shmick castor rods from godzl1975 so don't need those anymore. Besides I needed stock ones for a roadworthy cert as part of compliance. As for R32 GTR wheels, I'm after a pair only (as I currently have a pair of GTR wheels and a pair of BBS wheels which look wierd) can you price me up a couple and PM me? I'll be in syd around the end of June if you'd like me to pick them up... so no rush on those.
  18. sweet they're starting to arrive. Guys, just to let you know that I couldn't do a full translation of all the bookmarks (Only managed to do some of them). The manual was sent with extensive bookmarks in japanese. Once I translate them all, I'll create a patch file which I'll then upload here so you can download and patch your PDF's to have full engilsh bookmarks.
  19. its also an S14... which is a domestically sold model and not an import if you want to be technical whoever owns it deserves to have it confiscated anyways for mounting gauges on the outside of the car.
  20. banned and baleted... but yeah... use the report function in the future... lot quicker than waiting for us to check this section as it emails all the mods and admins instantly.
  21. i'd like to dip my beef roll in her raita. in other news... let the pr0n begin.
  22. so where's the moanie porn?
  23. S2 pinouts (auto and manual are the same charts I think)
  24. *hanging out for Mona photochops* where did all these yellow skyline driving fagtickles come out from?
  25. Here's the ECU pinout. image is blurry, I'll see if I can upload a clearer pic. The pinout is for a series 1 RB25/RB25DET ECU. Were you guys after the Series 2 one?
