I think its time to ban people for being daft. lol Drive in movies = sit in car and watch movie on screen = soundtrack broadcast on radio = need radio to watch movie. you don't need to idle unless you have 11ty billion jiggawatts of subs to power. Just crank and idle for about 5 mins in the middle of the moovie and you should be OK. That's providing you have a good battery. If not, take a portable radio and some batteries

Wheels: Don't really care about how it looks, ie gutter rash etc as long as the rim is structurally sound and isn't buckled/bent etc. Don't require tyres to be on it either. I'm not after the GTSt ones but actual factory GTR alloy wheels, if you have em you'll know what they are. Only after a pair of them, not a full set, but if you have a full set then please let me know prices. Castor rods: After secondhand R32 GTR castor rods that can be used for roadworthy (ie bushes intact etc). Feel free to reply with a price and location in this thread, as I've still got 130 pm's in my inbox to sift through in the next couple of weeks. time for an R34 frontend methinks.

TK R34 has non standard suspension parts (not just the strut), engine parts (boltons, but still), seats (big ADR no no), underbody diffusers etc. I think the first reply says it all. Too much hassle. I don't forsee any compliancer who knows what a TK R34 GTt is to agree readily.

once the car is complianced and registered you can mod it to your heart's content (whether they're legal or not is totally at your discretion). For the car to come in under SEVS it has to be factory specification. Some compliancers are OK with aftermarket bodykits and suspension though... so it's always best to check with the compliancer that will be complying the car what they can and won't allow before setting off to find a car. The guys at J-Spec usually do check if any mods on a potential car can cause issues with the chosen compliancer before going through with the final purchase. Good to see you goin for an R32 GTS4... They rock my jocks!

Wayne from GT-Auto should be able to answer all your questions on JZX90's and JZX100's. They currently comply the Mark II's and the Chasers. He's also an active SAU-er.

jeez guys... so much love. I've been away since my last post (you can check board activity if you don't believe me). I've also been away from administrating the SAU forum, as I needed to concentrate on some family stuff for the last month. Hence also why I've been away from work for that period. Now... everyone who put a deposit in my account has been sent a CD with the manuals to the addresses they supplied me with TODAY, the first day that I've been back. I'm sorry for the delays, it was totally unforseeable.

Sorry andrew they haven't been mailed out... real bad timing as I just left on holidays, and I've been in Adelaide for the last week (as per last post) and in Syd till the 23rd. If anyone wants their money back I'm happy to refund it.

hey guys, I'm actually leaving sunday night now so I can spend some time with friends over the weekend. Met up with Pete and his purple great grandpappy line today... and omg. I want one! Nicely restored car, with very sleeper looks and a roaring modern heart. Big fan of that sort of stuff, so I was well excited to get a ride in it today. As I told Pete, one of these days I'll pick up a Datsun 240K and drop an RB25DET and take it to a C110 GTR look. I took some quality pics of his car too, but unfortunately I left my USB cable at home in melb, so I can only upload em when I get back. Tomorrow I meet up with Deluxe who's gonna give me a guided tour of SA tuner shops. Loving the SA hospitality. Spewing I didn't bring my line down instead of flying. Yoshie, I didn't get a PM from you... which is wierd. Sorry mate. Sat night I'm meeting up with friends and going out, so I dunno if I can come cruising at night. Sat morning I'll be free though. Just saw the thread on the hills cruise on Friday... I'll see if I can get a hire car of some sort to fang around in.
