  1. so autosmellon has 2 national events at the same time in two different states?
  2. looks like we've lost sync again. prank, maybe set up the sync on a more frequent cron?
  3. Not really a big fan of flash on a forum... flash is awesome for standalone websites, but on a forum its a little redundant.
  4. put the Volvo XC70 next to a WC35 and you'll have a hard time choosing.
  5. I expect each one of you that's pedantic about how Stagea is pronounced the "japanese way" to say "su-kai-rine" from now on instead of Skyline.
  6. lol remachined the rotors on my cef a couple of months ago, so will be on the prowl for a new set as well. does anyone know for a fact (ie have you fitted them successfully) if S13/180sx rotors fit? As for brake pads, take them out of the car, and go to a repco where they have the "big ol book of pads" and find a near match.
  7. lol ae86 owners really are a stange bunch. less hachi-rusto talk... more footage of purple people eater ceffy sideways!
  8. I heard the 300zx boys are cruising up there today... hopefully the guys that stay overnight meet up.
  9. su-tae-gi-ya is how the japanese say it, but that's a japanisation of "Stage-A", which according to the original development and concept doco's is what it was derived from (apparently indicative of Advanced Stage or some shit). So to be correct to its origins it's a "stage-ay", but I always find myself calling it a "staaaaaygeeyah" or more often "stag" and "volvo".
  10. Chinese parts are awesome, but if you're buying a turbo you want a proper garett item, because its a critical part. The number of people I know who've blown engines by fitting chinese copy oil sumps for example.
  11. i get mine on wednesday hopefully! Delivered to my house (melb) from brisbane.
  12. get a "speed cut defender", it taps into your ECU and stops it cutting out when you hit 180ish. Should cost under $50 secondhand.
  13. lol sorry guys I'm runnin on a backlog of PM's since the forums were upgraded with people wanting all sorts of stuff fixed. I'll reply to PM's from you guys and post up an updated payment recieved list asap. I'll chuck both split and single manuals on the CD. Best idea evar!

  15. mine says 5 new messages, yet all I see are ones up to yesterday. methinks the SQL server's clock is a little off.
  16. tell that to the guys drifting the chasers, soarers, mustangs, vipers, supras, monaros and maloos in the world. They should "av-a-go-mate!" and see how they do. Who cares if they win or lose.
  17. "omg disshhhhh" maketh not a good drift car I'm a fan. more factory backed cars need to be in drift. Hope Nissan can retaliate with a 350Z, especially since they're flogging the "look at our Nismo 350Z" horse at the car shows.
  18. any reason for the GTS4 in particular? Any GTS4's entering the country these days have to come in as SEVS cars, so they can be expensive, maybe around $12,000 to $16,000 landed, complied and registered. You can probably pick up 15 year old ones that have come in under the old import laws cheaper though. However don't expect them to be of spotless condition if they're cheap, keep in mind GTS4's were most commonly used as commuter cars in snowy areas where AWD traction was needed, and therefore are prone to have more rust than regular GTSt's.
  19. Hmm you never know what shows up at the auctions... lol.
  20. single file size is 360mb it'll take forever to load it off a CD.
  21. interesting... when I change between skins the number of PM's I can see changes. Although I get the same error regardless of what skin I use, as fas a new post search is concerned.
  22. Depending on how long you are prepared to wait and how much you want to pay, I'll have a healthey GTS4 AWD RB20DET motor coming out of my car soonish. It'd save you money with being a bolt in, and not have to fark around making sure everything works.
  23. Oh one more thing, just reauthoring the manuals now, would people like the entire thing in one big PDF or split up into individual manuals as they are published? The way I've made it now is one big PDF with an index page that takes you to the subsections (which are the individual manuals). These then have a index for their contents etc. If I split them up the PDF's will load faster, but it might get more confusing to find out what manual is for what system of the car etc.
  24. using FF and the "view new posts" dosen't seem to work... so will be looking into that after the weekend. its something I use personally more than anything else on this forum.
