we just finished building a 180sx ute to semi-ADR specs, had to use chromolly bars to reinforce the roof (to prevent sagging) and also in case of a rollover. Also along the side the newly open tray area had to be reinforced on the sides, as the crumple zone becomes bigger in case of a side impact. Although looking at the structure of stagea's, I'd say one with a sunroof and a moon roof might be more structurally secure for the chop

I was hoping for the same thing as well, in fact I spotted the stagea manuals on yahoo about 3 or 4 months ago, and back then they were the same price. I was hoping as time went on and as more people got em I could snap it up cheaper, but it didn't happen. Eventually just got sick of waiting and bidded on it. You should have seen the prices of R32 skyline manuals and Apexi PowerFC software when they were released about a year and a bit ago (the proper japanese ones, not the summarised JPNZ translations)... they fetched about $500 for a burnt CD. Nowadays they can be bought for about $30 (still yet to see it for download anywhere).

not yet Alex, as most people who asked for one are yet to pay. But if making a small profit weighs so heavily on your conscience, then maybe from now on you can make the initial investment to help out others?

Agreed, cyberstork won't give a discount that big to offset the cost unless there's about 20 people or so buying the exact same face (ie model and colour combo etc).

what? you want to change that beutiful front to an R34? that's a tough call I think... that's by far the toughest looking stag front bar I've seen. Although those xenons and front bar n bits should pay for a good chuck of the masa conversion kit.

hey, have the prices changed? get your mate to send them in a document satchel (as they're almost A4 in size) via SAL, they're about half the cost of EMS, and instead of 3 day delivery, it'll take a week.

do you know the brand of the navigation hardware in the car? its possible to change the firmware to a local/US/UK equivalent to get it working in english. bit of a headache to do though

Actually if you read the group buy thread I did on these a while back, the prices they quoted me for putting the SAU logo on the dials (and removing the cyberstork ones in the process) came to about $125 including shipping... virtually doubles the costs of these faces.
