  1. you're gonna need templates for: R32 GTS (Type S or Type M seats are the most common) R32 GTR R33 GTS (Type S or Type M seats are the most common) R33 GTR R34 GTt R34 GTR WC34 Stagea A31 Cefiro S13 Silvia/RS13180sx PS13 Silvia/RPS13 180sx as that's what most of our forum users drive.
  2. the only beefed up gaijins seem to be US military... lol most of the aussies I met in japan were all weedy skinny blokes don't think they'll intimidate the pervs much.
  3. my old GTS used to look identical to a GTSt Type M (being a Type S).. was debadged and had wheel nut covers on the BBS rims, so no one could tell that it was a non turbo straight away. This meant half the road going dickhead population that drives riced up underpowered cars didn't want to attract my attention, and the other half of the road going dickhead population wanted to prove to me that their V8/turbo/supercharged car was faster than my "turbo" car. Now... FYI we don't allow threads that involve street dragging. So I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you mean dragging on a drag strip... if you don't want to be embarassed, just pick someone to do the run who's got a car of similar specs to you. 6cyl VN's for example.
  4. for the love of god have you tried typing "do-luck" into the search feature? here's a local supplier: http://www.unrealautosports.com/shopdispla...ck+Skyline+Kits
  5. thanks ctjet. we don't have a shop front with cars in stock though. Also we're a broker, not a dealer, so whatever the car costs to buy is what you get the car at, no markups included like dealers. When visiting some import dealers be very careful, some dealers, even reputable ones are known for covering up cars in bad shape by putting on a bodykit and a new lick of paint and then winding back the k's. Really amusing driving past a dealer that's local to me, you see a Soarer, R33, FTO and supra, all in the same shade of blue paint.
  6. can't be done on the PS2 Slimline as easily unfortunately, as it doesn't have a HDD port built in. You CAN hook up an HDD to the slimline if you solder the pins of an HDD connector cable in though. I dunno if you cbf soldering 40 wires into a space the size of your little finger.
  7. care to post the cover Beer Moron? and the rest of the pages (esp the 1989 one)
  8. gtfo? $100 for an adapter? I bought mine from EB for $20.
  9. Craig told me you had the R34 guards lined up already... did you get em straight from masa or a locally made copy? Congrats on the car dude, glad you didn't end up buying the damaged one off your mate.
  10. a31's have a different port to z32's and R32's unfortunately.
  11. artistic filter
  12. ETA 2 - 3 weeks. depending on what shipping i can organise. If I can get it down here by EMS then 2 weeks.
  13. leavin now. see you guy in 15 - 20 mins
  14. sweet might cover some EMS courier charges so it gets here faster. I'll PM those who've replied with bank details etc.
  15. its also mainly funded by Mitsubishi... the manufacturers usually donate them to the police, as its product placement. Think of the media attention the Evo's will get, and the amount of forums that'll be talking about it.
  16. don't really have sound clips, but I've got a video of me goofing around with my old GTS on a motorkhana day. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3954516175113564220 mods: fujitsubo mandrel bent stainless extractors and a 2.5" exhaust with a "straight thru" cat, black widow resonator and a magnaflow muffler.
  17. NS Forums are www.nissansilvia.com basically the skylinesaustralia's equivalent for slivia's. K-Style (Workshop X) is NZ based, a few of us know em from trips/events/local forums etc. Ask inark, he can put you in touch with em.
  18. also, "True Aero Style" in thailand can supply you with copies of TBO, URAS, Shooting Star and B-WAVE kits Their contact details and some other manufacturers are listed here: http://www.siammotorsport.com/directory/de...?Ccase=2&tID=10 http://www.takakaira.com/aerokits/aerokiti...emenu.asp?cat=4 Taka Kaira ships kits to the UK from Japan, but they'll charge you an arm, a foot and your firstborn.
  19. There's also final konnexion VIP kits Then there's a whole plethora of knock off/replica kits. The workshop that I work on my car at distributes a A31 kit's copy as well.
  20. there's heaps of em... you can make it look VIP with door skins or look drift style, or GTR style front etc. You can also get widebody front and rear guards to puff the car out too. I thought the A31 chassis was sold locally in the UK as Nissan Altima's, albeit with a lower spec engine/drivetrain?
  21. ATTESA wiring and diagnostics included, as are full wiring diagrams for the car. It also has a section on how to pull the interior apart if that's what you're after.
  22. It covers series 1 and 2 from what I understand. I assume these supplementary volumes are for updated engines etc: New Model Introduction - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (F046870) Main Service Manual - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (A046003)
  23. meh... wait for next season when the Porsche GT's carbon brakes are in fashion.
  24. I thought you HAD to do science in yr10? I didn't know you had a choice in the matter till year 11.
  25. I'm sure you guys have had a chance to check out the JPNZ manuals (legitimate copies of course) of the Skylines. A couple of years ago I got the japanese service manual equivalents and was astounded by the amount of detail that was left out in the english translations. I guess it cost money to translate a lot of trivial stuff. In any case, rather than stick around for someone to translate the stagea service manual, I bit the bullet and bought a copy of the Japanese service manuals on CD . I bought it so I could better work out a Stagea/Laurel/Cedric AWD RB25DET transplant into my R32 GTS4. I bought my copy for $140, and its not that easy to come by due to some shrewd japanese auctioneers playing bidders off against each other. I'm happy to offer a copy of this to you guys for $20 (postage included to anywhere in Australia). I'll only be selling enough copies to make my costs back, after that you guys are more than welcome to do with them amongst yourselves as you please. Seeing as I just bought the manual about an hour ago, it'll be a week before I get the master copy, and a week after that before you guys recieve it. In this time I'll take expressions of interest in getting a copy (simply reply in this thread). Once the necessary number of copies have been accounted for, then I'll send em out. Here's what's covered: Models 20G 20X 25G 25X 25RS 25G-Four 25X-Four 25RS-Four 25TX-Four 25TRS-Four/RS-Four 25TRS-Four V/RS-Four V RS-Four S RS-V 20RS Included Manuals (ID shown in brackets) New Model Introduction - Sept 1996 (F046813) New Model Introduction - Aug 1997 (supplementary Ⅰ) (F046844) New Model Introduction - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (F046870) Main Service Manual - Sept 1996 (A046001) Main Service Manual - Aug 1997 (supplementary Ⅰ) (A046002) Main Service Manual - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (A046003) RB engine RB20E, RB25DE, RB25DET Engine Manuals Sept 1996 (A260W10) R4W71C, RS5W71C and FS5W71C, FS5R30A Manual Transmission Manuals - March 1987 (A261B06) RE4R01A Automatic Transmission Manual - March 1987 (A261C07) F160 Differential Manual - March 1990 (A261D05) R200, R200V Differential Manuals - March 1991 (A261D08) ETX13A 4WD Transfer Case Manual - Sept 1992 (A261K02) Steering Gear and Power-Steering Pump + Rack and Pinion system Manuals - April 1993 (A261H04) AV System and Navigation TYPE I Manuals - June 1997 (A264A05) Service Technical Information (STI) Connector Summary - Feb 1993 (N200005) Also includes the following diagnostic manuals: CONSULT - Engine - May 1989 (J00E000) CONSULT - Traction Control - Aug 1991 (J00W000) CONSULT - AV system - Aug 1991 (J00V000) CONSULT Common (revised edition Ⅰ) - March 1991 (J00M001) CONSULT Service Manual - RB engine - March 1991 (J10E004) CONSULT Service Manual - Automatic Transmission - March 1991 (J10T001) Couple of screen grabs: Now, ALL THIS INFO IS IN JAPANESE, so it may not be useful to those of you who don't have the patience to translate it or work it out. However it is still handy to have, if you have a basic understanding of how to read a service manual. Again I repeat, this is a JAPANESE manual, not a translated english one. However it is more intricate and thorough than any english translated service manual I've read for a japanese import. The manuals have been stored in Adobe Acrobat 7 format, so you'll need a compatible reader to open it. All chapters are bookmarked for easy navigation, and each book is stored as a seperate PDF.
