  1. ATTESA wiring and diagnostics included, as are full wiring diagrams for the car. It also has a section on how to pull the interior apart if that's what you're after.
  2. It covers series 1 and 2 from what I understand. I assume these supplementary volumes are for updated engines etc: New Model Introduction - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (F046870) Main Service Manual - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (A046003)
  3. meh... wait for next season when the Porsche GT's carbon brakes are in fashion.
  4. I thought you HAD to do science in yr10? I didn't know you had a choice in the matter till year 11.
  5. I'm sure you guys have had a chance to check out the JPNZ manuals (legitimate copies of course) of the Skylines. A couple of years ago I got the japanese service manual equivalents and was astounded by the amount of detail that was left out in the english translations. I guess it cost money to translate a lot of trivial stuff. In any case, rather than stick around for someone to translate the stagea service manual, I bit the bullet and bought a copy of the Japanese service manuals on CD . I bought it so I could better work out a Stagea/Laurel/Cedric AWD RB25DET transplant into my R32 GTS4. I bought my copy for $140, and its not that easy to come by due to some shrewd japanese auctioneers playing bidders off against each other. I'm happy to offer a copy of this to you guys for $20 (postage included to anywhere in Australia). I'll only be selling enough copies to make my costs back, after that you guys are more than welcome to do with them amongst yourselves as you please. Seeing as I just bought the manual about an hour ago, it'll be a week before I get the master copy, and a week after that before you guys recieve it. In this time I'll take expressions of interest in getting a copy (simply reply in this thread). Once the necessary number of copies have been accounted for, then I'll send em out. Here's what's covered: Models 20G 20X 25G 25X 25RS 25G-Four 25X-Four 25RS-Four 25TX-Four 25TRS-Four/RS-Four 25TRS-Four V/RS-Four V RS-Four S RS-V 20RS Included Manuals (ID shown in brackets) New Model Introduction - Sept 1996 (F046813) New Model Introduction - Aug 1997 (supplementary Ⅰ) (F046844) New Model Introduction - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (F046870) Main Service Manual - Sept 1996 (A046001) Main Service Manual - Aug 1997 (supplementary Ⅰ) (A046002) Main Service Manual - Aug 1998 (supplementary Ⅱ) (A046003) RB engine RB20E, RB25DE, RB25DET Engine Manuals Sept 1996 (A260W10) R4W71C, RS5W71C and FS5W71C, FS5R30A Manual Transmission Manuals - March 1987 (A261B06) RE4R01A Automatic Transmission Manual - March 1987 (A261C07) F160 Differential Manual - March 1990 (A261D05) R200, R200V Differential Manuals - March 1991 (A261D08) ETX13A 4WD Transfer Case Manual - Sept 1992 (A261K02) Steering Gear and Power-Steering Pump + Rack and Pinion system Manuals - April 1993 (A261H04) AV System and Navigation TYPE I Manuals - June 1997 (A264A05) Service Technical Information (STI) Connector Summary - Feb 1993 (N200005) Also includes the following diagnostic manuals: CONSULT - Engine - May 1989 (J00E000) CONSULT - Traction Control - Aug 1991 (J00W000) CONSULT - AV system - Aug 1991 (J00V000) CONSULT Common (revised edition Ⅰ) - March 1991 (J00M001) CONSULT Service Manual - RB engine - March 1991 (J10E004) CONSULT Service Manual - Automatic Transmission - March 1991 (J10T001) Couple of screen grabs: Now, ALL THIS INFO IS IN JAPANESE, so it may not be useful to those of you who don't have the patience to translate it or work it out. However it is still handy to have, if you have a basic understanding of how to read a service manual. Again I repeat, this is a JAPANESE manual, not a translated english one. However it is more intricate and thorough than any english translated service manual I've read for a japanese import. The manuals have been stored in Adobe Acrobat 7 format, so you'll need a compatible reader to open it. All chapters are bookmarked for easy navigation, and each book is stored as a seperate PDF.
  6. my question to you is what a bunch of hoons in skylines would know about higher education and life choices? I'd go with option 3, from what I understand of the current system (I finished yr 12 in 1998, so I'm not really current with this shit) science is a core subject and failing that isn't gonna be good on your marks, wheras not doing so well in TAFE is acceptable? But as was said before, yr 10 is really not that critical unless you want to be an early school leaver so stress less.
  7. wasn't me... i guess another mod deemed it inappropriate.
  8. picsorban! and attach em coz narkeh will have a whinge again.
  9. man... I wish mine did that. All mine ever does is say "With all due respect Micheal, you are not possibly thinking of... Oh my word, you are!" f**kin piece of shit trans-am, can't even get my name right.
  10. haha kids these days speaking in TLA IRL (). I remember when me and my mates used to rock up to school in cressidas, corollas, falcons and shit, and they were cool simply for the fact that you and 4 mates didn't have to catch the school bus. As for your BOV issues, yes a pod will make it louder, alternatively an aftermarket BOV instead of the factory plumb back unit will also help you be fully sik and hektik.
  11. I'm far from fitting the stereotypical bogan mould, but I still think those are really nice cars. Just because some drivers who own these cars are short staffed in the intellect department, it dosen't make them bad cars.
  12. The 15 year rule just nailed the last nail on the coffin for that rule. Anyone with a McDonalds wage can now afford a R32 GTSt, S13 Silvia, FC RX7 for under 8 grand on the road. Hell I was offered a street registered S13 without an engine the other day for $800, get some mates around and we could have it fully running for another couple of grand. The 15 year rule single handedly made import cars more viable to the roadgoing dickhead population. Its not just limited to rich inner city kids these days. An R33 GTSt is cheaper to buy secondhand than a lancer. R34's are anywhere from 23k to 28k for a GTt. Well more accessible to the common market. Wind back time maybe four or five years, and how many kids below 19 did you know that bought a turbo import as their first car? How about now?
  13. I saw you and your gf driving around your respective R33's the other day, near the BP on Dalton rd in reservoir. I honked but you didn't look. I was in the maxima which probably didn't help.
  14. my old ride when it was my daily driver in VIC... during transitional phase... which is now SAM112's new ride in QLD...
  15. you should move to melbourne. Over here the import drivers seem to have something to prove against totally harmless commodore and R31 drivers. My mates have VN's and VL's as their daily drivers, and usually on a night out when its their turn to drive they take these cars. Having known em for ages and being in the cars with them, I can totally vouch that they aren't hoons or in the leasst try to irritate other drivers. Yet time and time again, kids that drive R33 GTSt's and more recently 15 year old silvias and R32's seem to have to prove their superiority on their road. This includes accelerating to let off the BOV in bumper to bumper 40km/h traffic, taking off at traffic lights and the "fully hektic stare" as the car full of 17 and 18 year olds drive by.
  16. you're gonna have to tell me how you did this or where you got it from.
  17. BTW troy, you'll need to modify the bonnet release, its a lot lower in the GTS than in the GTR. You won't be able to turn it if its too low, with the grille in the way.
  18. lol well you'll need a network adapter first
  19. you really have to stop calling us and asking about importing mail order brides though As dezz said, you're invoiced for everything that happens along the way, from initial purchase to shipping to compliance etc. Its a totally transparent system and the costs are as they're incurred. Sometimes unforseeable things do happen and may increase the costs involved, for example the car can get to compliance, and the compliancer can deem the brake pads to be worn out, so you have to get SEVS tested brake pads. This is not something we allow for in our initial estimates, and can put the figure out by a couple of hundred dollars.
  20. um... OK.
  21. J-Spec Imports are awesome. Tell em I said so. AMS and EGA41T both recently just bought stageas through us, so you can ask em.
