  1. bah... reading is overrated. so you gonna get those ones you showed me off NS, or have you been influenced by the Buddyclubs?
  2. 10ish? the SAU meet is on Saturday though...
  3. it looks like an R33 GTR... a horrid one at that. That photo's actually quite good for one reason though, see the blue bit on the centre piece of the front seat? how its slightly lifted? This is one of the things covers tend to do if they're badly mae or loosely fitted. They assure me that they're a good fit, but I'll wait till I go see them in person before I believe their claim. I wouldn't mind getting a set of these, if only to protect the original seats agaisnt stains and wear (or alternatively to hide the stains and wear on the seats already )
  4. Spoke to them a couple of weeks ago, seem like a decent bunch. I've organised with them to go visit their factory this week sometime to check out the quality of their covers. I'm really picky when it comes to this stuff, so I'll be sure to take some detailed pics for you guys. They also do custom fits for comparatively cheap prices apparently, and they said they can work with any manterial provided. So I'm taking some real leather n see what they say.
  5. I've driven R32 GTR's with minor mods, and I've driven a GTiR with minor mods. When I say minor mods I mean an exhaust, a pod and a boost controller... the GTiR gave me a much bigger smile on my face... why? its a 2.0L pocket rocket. Its about as fast as a GTR, but half the size and a smaller capacity engine. It handles like a dream... there's a hint of understeer, but not that bad. Comparing a GTR to a GTiR is stupid. GTiR's were built to take on Rallies around the world, the GTR was built to take on production class races. Two entirely different kettle of fish, and two completely different builds/racing theories. Under the 15 year rule we brought in GTiR's for dirt cheap. But now under SEVS it isn't too bad. compliance defintely isn't 6k anyways Although I must say the GTiR is slightly boring compared to an R34 GTR V Spec II when it comes to driving pleasure but definitely more fun than an R32 GTR. Getting back to the initial question... going from an oversteering R33 GTSt to a slightly understeering GTiR? Once you're comfortable powersliding the GTiR in AWD, you'll never look back.
  6. just noticed that as well... hmm seems really odd.
  7. emails are assigned by the domain controller, PranK in this case, unfortunately no one else has access to that part of the server. So hang in there till Prankeh finds time.
  8. well considering you could have been dead if someone had T boned you, it ain't too bad. What they mean from that blurb is that if you get done for anything else, you get an extra point for that. So for example... negligent/reckless driving 1 point... plus 1, failing to stop at a stop sign 1 point... plus 1 etc. if you get caught speeding, then its whatever demerit, times two.

    R32 Gtst

out with teh old, in with teh new eh ruk?
  10. worst case scenario you can chuck it in one of our containers, but its not really a regular thing, so it might not see australia for 2 or 3 months.
  11. yup, wonderful world of owning an R32... almost 99.9% of them have a cracked left airvent and the skin on the dash starts giving near the corners. here's what else to look out for: center vent (also going the same way as the left one) top corner of the interior next to rear quarter window bubbling windcreen rubbers cracking weathershield rubbers going white (easy to fix with black vinyl dye) rear window rubbers cracking/ falling off all this is most probably due to the extreme heat that R32's go thru in australia, there's not much you can do. Being a 15 year old car dosen't help it either. If your interior is mint now, invest in some window tints and pamper the interior with armorall n stuff.
  12. damn, was just about to make lewd remarks about you and streeter.
  13. clothes line spec wings are so 2004... fulsick drifters these days have 3D carbon wings. P1's look insane. Our Sky80 has them as well on its rears (must be something with drift cars not being able to afford a full set) and they look horn. BTW, make sure you take down the figures on the wheel before you return em (offset n all that).
  14. Altezza? you mean ATTESA
  15. one for me too... troy, you want me to get two down from jp and split the shipping costs?
  16. I believe it was deleted because Garage-13 is not a paid dealer on this forum. But that's just my theory, you'll have to check with the Classified section mods to be sure.
  17. R33's came out with RB20E's (which are reaaaaly shitty cars and WELL below the power to weight ratio), not RB20DET's. I second this, in VIC, in the last couple of weeks one person I know who owns an R33 on his P's has been asked to provide evidence of why he's driving a car over the power to wieght, and a girl who owns an R33 GTS got questioned if it was a GTSt during an RBT, and even had the officer check under the hood for a turbo etc.
  18. i know a magna that looks nicer than that car but do tell... so its not a long exposure shot? what did you chop?
  19. gaffa on the forums has a sweet little RB25DE powered 4 Door R32 GTS25 (well technically it started its life as an GTE). Its a great car for daily driving, and goes a little better than an RB20DE. Personally if I was limited to an N/A on a budget, this would be my solution... its got enough power to keep you happy till you're off your P's and 4 door skylines are gaining street cred for being superstar drift cars I used to have an R32 GTS (RB20DE), with stainless mandrel bent extractors, exhaust, etc. Used to sound great (for some reason everyone thought it was a turbo). Again, great car for daily driving, and I even took it out to a couple of motorkhana days and had some fun in it. Even beat a couple of turbo R33's in some timed events
  20. couldn't you have picked a better subject?
  21. they went to the volvo cruise to the museum of stamps and birdwatching.
  22. Who's up for a meet on the first Sunday of Feb?
  23. yup... still got it in my inbox... only one of 1836 PM's in there.
  24. pfft Troy has no chance of fitting in here unless he's got the seats on the rack above with the leopard skin... and even then only if he's dressed in nothing but a loincloth in matching fabric.
