  1. they're usually $25,000 or more for a good R34 GTt coupe in manual if you import one (ie not from a local dealer). That's including compliance. Allow up to another $1500 for registration (depending on where you are). although, one of the lads at work just listed these two... http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=4964 http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=4957 (apparently its a rare black manual coupe according to the post above) if you're willing to take a hit on what's considered high km for R34's (around the 95 - 105,000 km mark), you can get em pretty cheap. Manual sedans were a little more expensive than the coupes at one stage thanks to the antics of a cetrain Blitz/Uras drifter. But now the market seems to have regained its senses.
  2. chris, it'd have been cheaper to get WGN34C in NSW innit?
  3. yeah compliance shops use stickers now. But they should also stamp your new vin number either on the irewall or around the strut tower (if you ask em nicely).
  4. you can buy a whole heap of auto shifters from aftermarket shops, but only a select few have the overdrive switch that pre 1998 automatic nissans have.
  5. SEVS compliance is a nationally accepted standard, so you shouldn't have any problems. As long as the car is roadworthy in VIC (ie you have a VIC roady cert), and passes the VicRoads inspection, and you take along the right documentation (import approval, purchase invoice etc) then you should be fine. Depending on who serves you, if they're pedantic, they'll want to see shipping docs etc.
  6. Blitz is on holidays in japan atm (autosalon and all that). Feel free to PM PranK in the meantime.
  7. no need to start an SAU vs NS arguement, but they do have a good idea with the inability to post something for sale unless you have a decent post count. As someone said, its easy to sneak in 40 posts to reach your post count, but 100 will be picked up a lot easier. I'd be adding the requirement to have been registered for 3 months. I don't know why you'd be banned for just posting in the wrong place though.
  8. also do the cars have to be road registerable? Otherwise I'll happily swap cayenne for an 2005 Ferrari F1 car
  9. Five... hmm what to get... 1. 1958 Ferrari 250GT Berlinetta 'Tour de France' (classic car) 2. Aston Martin DB9 (daily driver) 3. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (well... everyone needs a stallion in the stable) 4. Maybach 62 (family sedan) 5. Porsche Cayenne S (gotta have something with enough room to bring back stuff from Bunnings right?) This would put the total cost of the contents of my garage around the 3.5 million dollar mark... but hey, dreams are for free right? Lets compare this to the current contents of my garage: 1. R32 Skyline GTS4 (daily driver) 2. AE86 Corolla Sprinter (thrash car) 3. A31 Cefiro (family sedan) lol
  10. if you want a skyline wagon that bad... start with a skyline instead of a volvo j/k maybe the Option/Trial built R33 GTR wagon might give some inspiration. It resurfaced at this year's autosalon repainted white (used to be bayside blueish when it was made about 4 or 5 years ago).
  11. I do my darndest best to make everyone feel accepted on this forum Jimbo. Although your cock cravings tend to make me want to recommend some time off sau and use fastfours forums. They love teh cock as much as you do over there.
  12. aww well isn't that sweet. here.. have a trophy:
  13. oh wow, i've got a postcount of 669... and I don't even whore on there. cool, I can sell stuff.

  15. Skyline model = Kakimoto Widebody R33 GTS25T Wheel diameter = 17 Inch Wheel width = 10.5" front/ 13" rear Wheel offset = (Don't Know) Tyre size = 255/40/ZR17 F, 335/35/ZR17 R Pirelli P-Zero's Modifications to fit = Front and rear castor adjustment by Kakimoto, HICAS disabled to prevent rear wheel steering. Both front and rear wheels sit about 1/2 an inch inside the guard.
  16. Pete, I'm interested in this project as well as I have a CA18DET and an RB20DET that I'd love to use it with. Rather than an LCD, I'd rather have individual LED displays for each measurement though, so when you're done I'll probably buy a "kit" (if you sell it unassembled) and modify it to my purposes.
  17. you can have the stock RB25DET block sitting in my backyard for free. I'm in melbourne. The block has been outside for a month or so, so there might be some rust on it. More than welcome to come and have a look, or it'll go to the metal recycler next month.
  18. all R32's had the optional panel available. Dunno about R33's.
  19. betcha he gets beat down by the postmaster.
  20. if you don't mind waiting 4 months for me to get around to doing it.
  21. it looks like flame grilled poo. actually... if you squint it looks liek a barracuda
  22. you sacrifice top end speed with the GTS4 gear ratio swap though don't you?
