  1. check out this month's issue of HPI. Good writeup on some nice cars for P platers. AE111 Levin for example. Farkin awesome car. FWD but similar power to weight ratio as a stock turbo R32 GTSt and its an N/A. Although insurance on any import will send you broke at 19. I used to pay $2500 a year just to insurance when I had my 180sx when I was 19 about 5 years ago. If you like to speed, and can't control your urges when other idiots on the road bait you, then you want insurance. Otherwise if you have an accident, then you'll be left with a writeoff or spare parts and no money for a new car. If you can't afford the insurance, or the maintenance bills then don't buy it. If you can budget for all of that, then get a turbo or non turbo skyline, as per what you can afford. Just don't blow all your money buying a car.
  2. You suck at teh not attracting attention to yourself. That is all. Maybe you should cut down on those bootycalls to adz's place in knox..
  3. I don't think I have the ECR33 one, I do have a GTSt and GTS25t one though... there's not much to translate in Hyper Rev mags, they're basically catalogues of the products carried by larger aftermarket manufacturers.
  4. Hmm there's a couple in there I should buy.... gaaaah.
  5. bumpetty bump. Car is still available with a MASSIVE price drop of $400. Bringing down the price to $2500, tow away, no more to pay. Some more pics: If you have any offers or want to negociate, then you can contact the number above, or send an email to [email protected] The car can be provided with an RB20DET installed for a slightly higher price.
  6. lol gotta love teh cef community. We're all a bunch of tards that give each other shit 24/7.
  7. the poverty pack R32 is actually the GXi, which in base model came with awesome drum brakes and steel wheels with hubcaps. It has a 1.8L CA18i engine. in the R33's the poverty pack came with an RB20E called a GTE. in the R34's it was the GT which came with a RB20DE Neo engine. Non turbo RWD R32's and single turbo RWD R32's have the same chassis designation, ie HR32 or HCR32. The only thing that sets em apart to the unweary eye is the badge on the boot. Most people that import cars run chassis' through the Nissan VIN database to check the car's production details prior to purchasing for this reason.
  8. f**k skylines and silvias... buy a combi van... i mean an AE86.
  9. Nice way to devalue a sweet stang. Bloody americans and their RB fetish, wish more of them would realise they're just common engines to the rest of the world. Now the stang's all JDM tyte.
  10. you guys should use a better electrician to install your alarms/central locking actuators. Have you guys got actuators in your driver doors? I had to install one in mine.
  11. yeah S2 grille looks teh bomb. I had a look at a SS sedan today in the sun, and it looks quite similar to that purple, so I think it is Holden's "Cosmo Purple".
  12. used to be www.zenitani.com but I'm guessing they forgot to renew their domain
  13. so is molten red the one on the Magna VRX or whatever they're called? you know the uber spec aussie ones? also, looking at the rega's on the S13, they seem to be nicely offsetted. Does this mean S13 and R32 GTSt wheel offsets are the same, and the distance between the hub and the fender is also the same? or have you spaced it out?
  14. if memory serves me correctly, we imported a pod with the 3 gauges to the left of the cluster from japan for a fibreglasser in melbourne. They did do some copies, but for the life of me I can't remember their name... I'll see if I can dig it up. They look horn though, one of my mates has an original triple cluster pod in his R32 GTSt. They'd look so bling with a set of Defi's in em.
  15. Rezz is in Uganda now.
  16. Yeah I work for em as the IT person (basically coding/maintaining the website/auction databases and the internal network in the offices)... so I won't be the one you talk to when you call us. Compliance fees are included in all SEVS cars, as SEVS compliance is done to a national standard. Compliance fees aren't included in 1988 and older vehices (and some 15 year old cars with import approvals) as they're done to a state standard. For example, seatbelts don't have to be changed in VIC for A31 cefiros for compliance, but in NSW its mandatory. This creates a large variance in compliance costs, so its easier to supply the cost to the customer when they contact us. Also some of our customers (mechanics, panel beaters etc) do part of the compliance themselves, so they only pay for it to be engineered. As for fees, there's a $1000 J-Spec fee, and all other costs are as they are incurred with invoices and reciepts for each step of the way.
  17. you can be a vagina if you want settle down fellas, don't wanna have to close this thread as well. Keep the pics coming, and teh bitching subtle and off the forum. The night ended well regardless of shenannigans, so lets not make a fuss over it. I'm sure Jeff knows what not to do next time.
  18. Depends on the engineer that signs em off. One of the ones we use prefers to have them welded in on both sides, and won't sign off on the car otherwise. Another gets em down from QLD, bolts/rivets em in and signs it off, although he won't sign off on it unless it was installed by him.
  19. awesome... yeah we stopped at the supercheap on the way from Melbourne to the Gold Coast. We picked up some windscreen wipers and a $150 sony cd player (I had removed the one in the car, and we cbf driving the rest of the way in silence). Pulled into the driveway and one of the guys in the car yelled "oh my god, its a stagea in the middle of nowhere!". We also chatted up your checkout chick, but we didn't get any phone numbers or discounts
  20. don't lie... you know it'll pull more chicks than the AE86
  21. hmm a thread full of admins and mods and you're poking fun at them. Very intelligent
  22. yup, if I was getting a stagea the W35 will be the go. Just much better looking than the previous model. Although I wish they didn't have the volvo/volkswagon style rear tail lights.
  23. I dunno man... I have a feeling this year's the one... do you feel lucky?
  24. agreed skylines are tough and silvias are sleek. Combine them though and you get "arse", especially if you see it from the back, there's heaps more photos of that car floating around. It looks so fake.
