  1. buy a GTSt. dirt cheap GTS4's usually come from snowy areas (where they need AWD) and as a result are rusted to all hell underneath. easier to just use the money you spend converting to a RWD to buy a good GTSt.
  2. used to do 3d modelling ages ago, but I just don't have the time and patience for nurbing these days My software's like outdated by a couple of years too, which dosen't help. Trendwhores these days just mish mash some polygons in maya or 3ds and then use it in photoshop or freehand... so not a fan of that sorta 3D.
  3. put a 12a in it ... just so you have a similar era at least
  4. Ian came to the show and shine we held from memory.
  5. fark yeah, that's very nice. I'd hit it (gently). I love that shape too. Always wanted to get one, and make a japanese Elanor out of it. How much did it cost ya, if you don't mind me askin? But you do realise you're now a sillycar owner PS... you need one of these now: http://ebbro.com/catalogue2002/Toyota/Celi...Green/index.htm
  6. talk to a supercheap, repco or autobarn if they will allow the use of their carpark. Its good promo for them because their products will be used to paint the calipers.
  7. I think a pic would help people understand what you're talking about. My cefiro has a 3 way switch on the centre console which control the antenna position, but R32's have them built into the windscreen.
  8. I was 20 (and on my P's) when I got my NA R32 4 years ago. Cost me $1200 p/a with Just Cars for full comprehensive. I think I was rating 3 or 40% NCB. Mods on my N/A were full exhaust system and sound system and I had a 3 point black wired immobiliser. All depends on what your rating is though. If you have a bad driving history or rating 5 then prepare to bay through your arse.
  9. one of em has to be called Drunkan... also I wanna retract my nomination of calling one of em Arbee, given Duncan's track record for killing RB engines.
  10. I dunno rezz, it just takes away the skyline-ness of the rear. I don't mind LED tail lights, love em in fact, but that style ones just look wierd (and yeah I've seen em fitted on a car). The Nismo style red led ones on the other hand, look the goods.
  11. lol Chuck Hoff. Hoff is a winner I reckon. Dunno about Chuck, I'd go something simple like Arbee. My old dog was called "Thief". Quite amusing really.
  12. maybe you're just 1 minute slow?
  13. yeah what softy said, you don't need that much power to drift if you've got a nice suspension setup and diff, stock RB20DET's should give you enough oomph. The only gripe I have with ceffy's is their boat like swaying. Make sure its got a low center of gravity and rigid suspension and you'll be fine. In any case you should give it a go. It'll give you a feel for the car, and you can then tweak the suspension till it handles the way you want it to. A lot of guys bleet on about "teh ultimate drift machine" which they're building up, but have never seen a second of track time.
  14. are you talking about Sophia's on Plenty?
  15. Cheers for that troy, heidelberg's nice n close so I'll give em a call tomorrow to check on availability.
  16. yeh the search function on this forum software is severely lacking... try: +torque +"cylinder head" every term you want in the search must have a + so it reads as: find all threads that contain torque AND the term "cylinder head" if you leave out the first plus you get find all threads that contain torque OR the term "cylinder head"
  17. space goats... wtf... I want some of what you're having

  19. it was Aussie wide Logistics that did mine 0404 055 083 Easy guys to talk to and negociate with. Based in Melbourne, but specialise in interstate deliveries. Otherwise you could try http://www.busfreight.com.au but I dunno if they do engines.
  20. that's even gheyer than the RB24S
  21. figured as much, you always seemed like a "nuts on yo chin" type of guy.

  23. ideally you want clear lights that light up orange in the clear bit, you can have orange globes in the repeater (orange bit on the side)
  24. coz your lazy ass is at work half the time, I don't want to be gettin you fired for idle chatting on the phone WHILE you whore on the net.
