  2. yeah cost and pics please...
  3. fark me, you turned 25? congrats mate.
  4. do a search on some of the thread me and a couple of other guys did on supercharging RB's. We did came up with some good ideas, but in the end decided its cheaper, and easier to swap in a turbo engine. Especially on an RB20. We figured it'd be easiest to use a supercharger off a Toyota 1G-GZE as its perfectly suited to the layout of an RB engine.
  5. thread about the game the car's promoting: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=94611
  6. Been out for a week now... you guys should check it out. What's better than driving an R34 in a video game... an R34 with rocket launchers and machine guns oh and a pic of the actual demo car that sigsputink took: more of his pics here Game cover:
  7. Oh its the promo car for Kousoku Kidoutai (High Speed Riot Squad): World Super Police should have recognised it... pretty sweet ass game too.
  8. how do you warn people?
  9. that's R34's the promo car for NFSU Sha-Do (japanese release) is it?
  10. guess again nah I'm workin on it... just sorted out the user group displays
  11. mistook the hormone pills for the constipation ones in the morning did we? I'll see what I can find about the indexing... I'd have thought it was instantabeous as well, but a quick google came up with people reporting it took up to 24 hours.
  12. blah... did I say 6... I meant 5, takes about 2.5hrs to get there so 6 would be a bad idea. We've got a couple of reflective vests which we wear when going down to the docks to collect cars etc. at work, I'll bring em along.
  13. dunno, I don't think he is.
  14. well one's a turbo the other isn't... they're both top feed... brackets might be the same, but the cover won't be the same shape (as the turbo one has allowance for intercooler piping). Also it'll say "2000"(cc) on it and no Turbo emblem.
  15. a thread takes about 24 hours to enter the search index... maybe try tomorrow? and why are you a WA Exec?
  16. tadaaaah... user group icons biznitches!
  17. Gareth got drafted into team Toll Logistics
  18. yeah RB20DE Neo's exist, they came in poverty model stageas, R34 skylines, laurels, glorias and cedrics. They're the Neo version of the R32 N/A 2.0L DOHC engine. they are to those cars what the awesome CA18i was to the R32.... useless.
  19. team j-spec will be leaving at 6am on Saturday morning from Burwood. If I'm with them then I'll do some officiating. Do we get logbook notes for officiating? narkeh, I can handle your camera if you want (otherwise I'll be snapping with my IXUS).
  20. patience... all will be clear in a sec
  21. sorry couldn't resist had to tweak your post a little for added novelty.
  22. http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_...oyota-ts-01.htm http://www.japanesecarfans.com/news.cfm/Ne...2/toyota/1.html http://www.gizmag.com.au/go/3800/
  23. they take the xenon out as part of compliance, then they can fit "aftermarket" xenons back onto the car...
  24. they also have an active GT racing competitions that attract a lot of media attention, sponsors and manufacturers (including the Falken backed R34 GTR). Setting up a branch in Europe will allow them to develop and refine their involvement in the series. The US has a massive fanboy base, and like other Japanese companies like Apex, HKS and TRD will no doubt do well from expanding in there. Plus JGTC just set up a leg of their championship in the US, so it makes sense to be there. We have V8 supercars... and people who love the bang for buck value of 15 year old cars. Not really much of a market for high end tuning house developed cars, and the profits to be made from just aftermarket parts is gonna be pretty thin.
