I work in publishing, so I get crap pay compared to industry standard. but the workplace rocks so I'm happy. plus there's loads of benefits like phone, car allowance, free flights interstate, working from nz, singapore, hong kong, malaysia, UK or india when I want etc. i dunno, for me I have to be in a place where I wake up in the morning and feel like goin to work everyday, otherwise I'll just quit. luckily my skills are leet enough that I'll get headhunted, but still, I care not for paypackets, I care more about job satisfaction.

this. pat, i'll admit I do rev match in the golf, to remove the jerking around between shifts. the gearing's way too high in the golf to start with to make up for the gutless engine. even the GTS4 with the twin plate OS giken I just did simple rev matching on the street, on track I heel toe. 240z will receive the same treatment. I can't think of many situations on a street where I need to slow down and exit the corner at full speed like on a track. Usually when I slow down while dailying, it's to come to a stop or some shit.

it's already carb. carb's shithouse on v8 cos the fuel injection is linear to the amount of air passing through the carby. Much better to EFI and fine tune how much goes at various RPMs. altho carb's zero hassle long hair no care. plug fuel line, tune carb, off you go.

will do. need monies soon to pay for engine build. they've got the EFI kit on the LS5 now, but they haven't got it running yet. Engine's good for 350 killabees with no EFI, so hopefully with it, should run a lot smoother and more powah. Then if I have any money left over after moving later in the year strap a supercharger to it for even moar powah.

actually manual GTS4 coupes are rare as rocking horse shit. Sedan's and auto's are much easier to find

nah bro, manufacturers of road cars put syncros into gearboxes just so that it looks good on the brochure, it's up to us emo 32 race car drivers to rev match the gears on the streets. I mean, what would they know, it's not like they spent millions developing a system so that you don't have to do extra work and look like some track day hero.
