  1. BAZINGA! Damn, LTHLRB's MK3 golf has got the same size engine as mine (2L SOHC), cept mine's got full EFI, leather seats, cruise control, is 7 years newer and cost me $600 less. Smart move would be to sell the golf for mad profits instead of modding it, instead of spending twice what I paid for it in mods.
  2. lol @ sam trying to convince someone that an auto to manual conversion on a GTS4 isn't that expensive. you only need to change the front and rear diffs so the ratios match the box, and the only manual AWD boxes you can get came on manual GTS4s and GTRs, which are both way more expensive than a GTSt box. yup, definitely a cheap job. totally.
  3. hamish, you're quite possibly the only person who can make owning an auto R32 GTS4 sedan awesome. no homo.
  4. staggered only ever looks good on sleek lined coupes like 350z, 180sx, s15, s14, RX7's etc. maybe its not staggered, but is hoiked up in the front?
  5. is that staggered 17/18?
  6. ffffuuu $600 to have the plastic welded to shave the golf's bumpers and flare the lip.
  7. if i had to drive a sub $10k N/A, this would be it. fuck VTAK.
  8. personally if I had that kinda restriction I'd get a EG6 Civic SiR, Golf MK3 VR6, BMW 325i, 2L S13 or 180SX, or MX5 if you can't have a powerful engine, then you make sure the car is as light as it can be, the suspension and balance is off its tits and the engine is as big as it can be. pick of the bunch would have to be 1996/97 MK3 VR6. 2.9L 6 cylinder engine in a chassis that was tight and handled well. no VTAK or skyline would stand a chance.
  9. so you'd take a 2.0 VTEC CRV over an N/A R32 GTS25? Have you even driven an N/A skyline? I agree an Integra Type R or S2000 would be 100% more fun than any N/A R32/R33/silvia etc, but some of the VTAK sleds are complete shithouse at handling, which you kinda hope to hell they do being FWD.
  10. no, were you fuckin dropped on your head as a baby? factory N/A chassis only. 0.5l larger engine (going from RB20DE to RB25DE) still has to be on an N/A chassis. The state doesn't give a fuck if your car has no turbo even though it rolled off the factory floor as a turbo.... unless you're willing to spend about 1.5k engineering it to show otherwise. No because: 1. you lack the testicular fortitude to pull them off properly, then will have an emo whinge about how they don't suit your car etc. 2. they aren't for sale 3. refer to 1. you've been hangin round these "omfg my car is a track day superstar and can potentially lap Tskuba in 0:59 seconds even though the only upgrade I've done to it since it rolled out of the factory is a paintjob to hide the dents I copped int he supermarket carpark and a new shift knob and some airfreshner" crew for too long, starting to rub off on you son. wait... wut? it's an auto? BAHAHAHAHA and you're worried about 4 studs having herpes? lolololol
  11. something like that... tbh I can't remember anymore. fits a 32 GTR with about 5mm poke out of rolled (not lipped) guards.
  12. no fuck off. learn to delete shit.
  13. 12k for an emo GTR? lolol
  14. then find someone to fix your car
  15. why'd you piss on his car? virgin-boy, swap the GTS4 for a R33 N/A, straight swap.
  16. long hair, no care. ngas can deal with seeing meisters on a ratty old car. why? the hubs are fine, I think you'll find what's lacking are the brakes. they're technically fine for an N/A. besides, your ghetto ass was gonna buy a silvia/180sx, they all have 4 stud herpes.
  17. Booking for @drupaldownunder. Paypal's the only payment method? Guhh, now I have to jump through HR hoops instead of using a company AmEx.

  18. yeah if it's a factory option then it's all good, hence RB25DE (not RB25DET). You don't even have to upgrade the brakes, cos they didn't change em in the GTS25.
  19. ah yeah, true that, don't have to apply for exemption for that shiz. CA18DE is gutless as fuck tho. As is SR20DE, RB20DE's not that bad cos you can rev it high all day every day and have good bottom end torque (being an i6), but SR and CA are both gutless down low and only good revving high. Oh and stock SR's tend to shit themselves when constantly revved high. I'd buy an NA R33 if I were you. RB25DE is a good engine for an N/A. Just harden up and put up with the R33 body shell. Failing that find an R32 GTS25, but good luck, they're few and far between. Orrr... find a R32 GTS with the engine on the way out and swap in an RB25DE. Pretty straightforward swap (you can do it in a weekend) and also don't have to get it engineered.
  20. ohh bot = not. lol pwnt. but anyways, all CA's are imports. In fact, I'm pretty sure all S14's and S15's sold in oz are turbos. all the N/A are imports. I'm 99% certain they put "Its cos it's an import" cos they couldn't legally put "it's cos you're arab" on your rejection.
  21. BTW, cefiro is exempt cos it's a family car. Suspension of a silvia + RB20DET. Do it.
  22. lol if the car is just a sedan variant of a sports car then it's not allowed. its in the fuckin rules. don't pretend like this is some shock news to you.
  23. meister S1 3pc. was gonna chuck em on the 32, but now they're goin on the 240z (once I do the S14 drivetrain conversion). 3.5k cos I don't wanna sell em but if anyone's tarded enough to give me that much for em, then I'm not gonna hold darwinian theory rob a fool of his money.
  24. http://dicksmith.com.au/product/S4403/standard-charger-with-4-x-aa-ready-to-use-eneloop-batteries Eneloops on sale bros
  25. nope. but it will be by the time I sell... which isn't any time soon.
