yeah but you have a better chance of a payout if you gave them a quote for one hypothetical wheel replacement rather than a higher quote for a full set of replacement wheels. I don't think Vicroads will care if you can get them or not. Having dealt with insurance companies when putting together quotes for the workshop, it's not wise to overquote as they might go into full out deny deny deny mode. Just sayin.

cas, has vicroads given you a cheque yet? you're gettin all mohsen on us now. horse before cart n all that. give em a quote for the replacement of the wheel that was damaged only, and IF they pay you (which I doubt) then start looking for wheels. No point getting yourself pointlessly into more debt.
