  1. haha I'm sorry... what? this has got to be the most arse backward hair brained money making scheme ever. you do have a nice looking house though.
  2. fuck off. I'll steal my cars till the day I get caught. nevarrrr! KE's appreciate in value by 50% when they have a full tank of petrol.
  3. 4K, that's AE86 money brooo ngas only go to KE70's cos they can't afford AE86's. no pimply faced maccas wage earner's gonna be able to afford your car.
  4. epsy... what smoothed bumper? my bumper looks identical to that, and it came like that from factory. it's an awesome missile. dunno bout the swastika
  5. reverse threaded screw taps = thread doctor
  6. i've got reverse threaded screw taps if you completely fuck it up. we use it to pull broken studs out of engines.
  7. oh if it's in a movie, then it'll be malaysia for sure. they made a couple of drift movies in F&F style. one of the baddies drive a cefiro with some work done to it. actually. hold that thought. A pillar gauges on the left. must be LHD, which means it's in the phillipines.
  8. cefiiiiiiiiilo! with S14A front conversion. and R33 GTR style front bumper. think it's in thailand or malaysia.
  9. nope. no roaming. borrow a laptop with VPN if you need to login on the go, we have powerbook whateveryoucallits and dells. I think what it comes down to is that OSX has been x64 for a while, long before it became the norm on PC's... which means when it comes to working on print design/multimedia projects machines with more GeeBees of RAMs that Apple provided was beneficial. That all went to shit when: 1) apple switched to Intel architecture 2) windows didn't treat x64 as an afterthought
  10. lol we have departments full of designers and developers, in 3 locations in oz, running varying levels of mac hardware (all on OSX) and linked using Active Directory across the world in the most widespread multinational publishing company... and we don't seem to have these issues you've got your panties in a twist about Maybe you're just doin it wrong. That said, all the devs in our department use PC's and all the designers use Mac's. I've got both on my desk. Fucks me up good each time I change keyboard layouts.
  11. make sure you upgrade your pivot bolt, fork and the right size throwout if you're getting heavier button clutches. chucked my OS Giken triple in and after one track day couldn't put it in gear. turned out the factory fork and pivot had warped/snapped. another guy who came to the workshop used the factory throwout and fucked his clutch up after one track day.
  12. haha I downloaded the R5 as well and watched it. So. Fucking. Awesome. When I grow up, I wanna be as badass.
  13. isn't this your first manual? wear out your existing clutch before you go upgrading. why are you upgrading g/box anyways?
  14. It's just more intuitive and streamlined. from a UX point of view anyways.
  15. so I run a triple booting hackintosh to the same specs as a $6000 power mac pro or whatever the fuck the call it. even shelled out for a legit copy of OSX and it only cost me $2500 all up. Does everything Apple's hardware does. I use it to dev iPhone/iPad apps and boot to Windows 7 x64 for design and stuffs. I've got BSD set up as well for testing firmware etc from embedded projects, but I hardly ever boot into that, so for all intents and purposes it's a dual boot system. The OSX UI is leagues better than windows 7, and the install process is better than Win7 too, however of late a lot of programs seem to leave behind junk on uninstall. It's pretty easy to clean up though, just like it is in Win7, if you know what you're doing. If OSX had all the programs Win7 supported, then I'd switch in a heartbeat. Not a fan of having to run some apps in Parallels or some shit.
  16. dont go to tokyo if you want to experience car stuff outside the show
  17. technically it'd only cost $80 max to challenge that fine in court. IF you were in the right. In most cases you can have the state accept that cost too if you win. You're not in the right though, so I highly doubt that'd be the case.
  18. tell him to get fake LMGT4's like 99.9% of people who rock LMGT4's.
  19. in case you guys aren't watching. China announcing some unstable economic policies and erffect of CBA announcements on interest rate. AUD just started going down. Doubt we'll hit the magic 0.98 mark we started at when the AUD floated.
  20. maybe a rethink of strategy is in order?
  21. lol if I did I'd have bought one of em by now. The only distinguishing feature I'd have to say is the red RB26DETT out of an R34, and an "S&S engineering" badge on the boot. That and the fact that it'd be worth as much as an R34 GTR or more in Japan. Also... light weight headlights my arse. They were the only GTRs equipped with non projector headlights found in poverty spec non GTR's. It was "lighter" than the projector versions, and had the extra clips bolted on to hold the grille in place (clips can be bought from Nissan still).
  22. haha pwnd hard. i still find it hilaaaarious that none of the boys sporting skittles coloured fibreglass speedboats and big fuck off shiny mods never get done so hard, yet you, mr under the radar with tasteful mods for super hektic trackdays only gets shafted.
  23. gives you 10 days to sell the car. then it's someone else's problem. kgo.
  24. Number of electronic projects Shan has finished: 0. Number of electronic projects Chris has finished: Lots.
