  1. so what they're saying is that Muzza's are a bigger menace than Bogans? woah. my mind just got blown.
  2. it's a 2L SOHC FWD golf. sif it'll make me produce skidmarks... well unless I do an epic understeer while trying to corner in the wet. In which case on account of it being wet I won't be nekkid, so no probs there either.
  3. look when i'm sitting butt nekid on my leather seats, I wanna make sure the colour goes with the new paint. altho... most probably i'll just leave it cream and deal with it.
  4. also with +40 fitment. as are Prius' which also run 5x100. The Works I got are for a Subie, but then with custom outers machined up to my specs so that the offset goes from 18x7 +29 to 18x10.5 -15
  5. yeah it's a blue base with purple pearl and then a clear with some light blue pearl in it... or someshit like that. same car, two angles.
  6. base was $1500 for centres and inner barrels and $1000 for outer barrels. Plus new bolts, labour, powdercoating etc. full homo cos it's 5x100 fitment that nothing else seems to use other than shitty old toyota celicas, and even then they're like +40 offset which is useless on an euro.
  7. LV4 (Midnight Purple II): LX0 (Midnight Purple III): Interlagos Blue:
  8. yeah but MP2 is a nissan colour. this is a golf... at least Interlagos Blue has some euro history behind it. Although then the cream leather interior and MP2 should look sweet together. If I go the Interlagos Blue I'll have to change the interior to tan instead of cream. Wheels will have to be a different colour instead of blue barrels and black spokes too if I go MP2. Maybe bronze barrels and black spokes? Also, there's no green in MP2. MP3 has some fucked up hectic bro chameleon goin on, but MP2 is just straight blue -> purple -> black transition. Black basecoat, purple midcoat, blue pearl in clear.
  9. that's cool, if you got the equivalent tyre in a toyo or goodyear etc it'd be $200 cheaper.
  10. why would you want a tyre that has to be imported? Neovas aren't local stock, just buy equivalents from another brand.
  11. lol so they crushed a shitheap that was bound for the wreckers anyways? wow, way to put your foot down.
  12. that's a lotta dose pipes that are gonna become available.
  13. What? Why? The wheels are being custom made to match the body to within a bee's dick.
  14. GTFO. I think there's a different ruling for different GMV's. I mean... if it's blue and the size of the semi trailer, there's more chance of it being Optimus Prime than a cop car, firetruck or ambo.
  15. but it's a 2nd generation cube right? so shouldn't it be CUBE2?
  16. still waiting on custom wheel outers to be machined up and the centres powdercoated. in the meantime i got our painter to track down either Nissan Midnight Purple II or BMW Interlagos Blue samples for paint. Then it's a matter of rolling/pumping the guards out for extra width which should cover the 11" wide wheels in the back Still divided on paint. MPII would be sweet, but the base colour of the car is blue... which may or may not work too well with a blue-purple-black flippy colour.
  17. sif you wouldn't get ICE3 if you had a white or light blue one.... cos it's so cool (geddit?) not a fan of numberplates that just say the model of the car. needs more creativity. also Cube3 is geometrically incorrect
  18. all westies want a campervan.
  19. GTS4 + VQ35DE AWD sump + VK45DE + two turbos. = AWD V8 twin turbo R32. one day.
  20. maybe instead of neons you should look into focussed LED lights and hook em up to your interior lights, that way you don't run a risk legally
  21. god kills a kitten AND a puppy everytime you turn a neon on in a skyline. although in the grand scheme of things you're only slightly more pretentious than wankers that run around with japanese learner driver stickers, so don't fret. rear facing red lights are legal as long as they are turned on with park lights, as are foglights or driving lights in front. you can try and adapt this to neons if you want (I guess run a white-yellow one in front and red in the back) and try and pass it off as driving aids. you can't have red or blue lights inside or outside the car while driving in a way that is visible from the outside so as not to cause confusion with emergency vehicles. this includes LED's, neons, CCFLs etc and any glow from footwell lights. you can't have a purple light on your car unless you're a harbourmaster in certain parts. yellow lights on the turning side are also legal as long as they are activated by turning signals. that said, you'll find 99% of this forum and most performance forums will bag the snot out of you for putting em on your car.
  22. alex is on your side of town dezz... make that nga pick it up.
  23. lol cass, now try that with the cost of supporting your parents medical bills for heart surgery etc.
