  1. there's this place in toorak that's pretty good. or the one on the corner of russell and bourke in the city... greek steaks. they also do roast boar.... Asterix styles the TAB at the Glen (not the one on the strip, the one next to maccas) does some decent steak n chips for $20. It's nothing sensational, but pretty good for the price.
  2. Well you don't actually wanna appear in court, cos you're gonna look like some teenage kid with a high performance car trying to weasel his way out of a speeding fine. What you want is an out of court settlement. Talk to a solicitor. They are the only ones qualified to advise you and the one ones whose advise you should take seriously. None of the opinions stated in this thread count.
  3. they need to have followed you for around 10 seconds at that speed matching your speed for it to hold up usually (depends on the judge), but you'll find with flakey readings like that you'll be offered a lower fine and demerit by the prosecutor so that it never has to go to court. get a solicitor on it. As long as you never made an admission of fault that is.
  4. i remember when those were on YAJ I was bidding on em.
  5. driftline, altho that coulda been mates rates. so 2 would've been 300.
  6. should be about $150, that's what my S14's front driver side cost to change out.
  7. hoo-fuckin-ray also, niggeroj, brightest idea you had all week.
  8. you must be basing this assumption on the honda forums, zilvia or drifting.com
  9. 50mm 1.8 is a great prime lens. I always use one when shooting indoors and in low light. I carry it with a couple of fast zoom lenses as part of my "take everywhere" kit. The DOF on a 1.8 is what makes it great... backdrops just blur out so its only the subject in focus. Great for portraits etc.
  10. some places can do em on the car. I take em off and down the street from our workshop to the wheel/tyre place and they do em for $10 a pop if its one of our customer cars (trade price), or a slab of beer if its for one of the boys. they charge customers $20 each normally I think and take em off for them along with tyre fitting/wheel balancing.
  11. get fucked, it's hilaaarious. even virgin boy thinks it is.
  12. brb, meeting with stephen fry and isobelle carmody
  13. well I like accoustic rock and soul n stuff. So some of your songs are relevant to my interests. Any Lankan that sings is doomed to be associated with CDB. Remember them?
  14. woah. ghey overshare.
  15. I'm gonna feel dirty for saying this, but I actually like jizzy's music.
  16. check other thread.
  17. fuck. yes.
  18. most brake shops machine em for about $20 a rotor.
  19. just give the habibs and muzzas about 10 years to catch up with the hot hatch trends sweeping across the world. nga's need to drive a scirocco or abarth SS.
  20. what rock do you live under. the lads in the states rock mad suspension mods, usually cheaper than out of japan and better quality too. They do seem to like their disco potatoes though.
  21. you imported IMO average wheels? why? weren't there ones pre-imported that were already in oz? also, do these guys not ask sellers questions and inspect the stuff when they arrive in japan? you know... before you ship em half way across the world for near the cost of the wheels. that's complete BS. there's no risk at all if you don't deal with amateurs.
  22. i did. cbf multiquoting. also. if there's structural damage on a rim... you throw it away. you don't fix it.
  23. great... transformers tax time on 510 Bluebirds
  24. depends on the configuration... for example if it's bucky-ball formation then it's strong as hell, in common form it's brittle as fuck.
