  1. ahem... golf R32's. 3.2L V6 (well, it's almost an I6) hot hatch. y'all nga's be living in the 1990's still. N/A p-plater friendly lightweight cars rocking AWD and massive torque in lightweight bodies have been readily available in the past 10 years. just that most p-platers can't afford that shit on maccas wages. 5 PSI on a larger turbo = 13PSI on a turbo the size of your wiener.
  2. did he touch you inappropriately Chad? in your special place?
  3. none of those cars are gonna be easy to resell without taking a $1000 hit. borrow one off a mate who has a spare and give him $100 a month? Or buy one with 6 months rego left that's going to the wreckers.
  4. even tho you may have an extra 10kw/tonne, the weight will be far more noticeable when turning, stopping and controlling in an oversteer... you know... those functions of your car that don't involve raw power. put it this way, get the tail end out to 45 degrees in a poopra, a 300zx and a skyline, and see which one is easier to catch and bring back into line.
  5. Obviously don't just spam the thread, but post any once off or unbeatable deals. I'll start: http://www.harveynorman.com.au/product/125...amera-body-only Canon EOS 50D DSLR Camera (Body Only) for $842 Which is about the price of a grey import. Its not a bad entry level DSLR, just keep in mind that it's 2 years old and now discontinued.
  6. what do you mean almost? black + chrome + fitment + slam = winnar
  7. its normal in a forum you're gonna get all manner of opinions, positive and negative. look into watanabe RS-8's. they come in all sorts of fitments on yahoo and they're usually found on real boso cars.
  8. rowl
  9. easier to control a car when you have more tread to regain traction when you need it. lose traction with power. contrary to popular belief, drift is about control over a slide, not sliding out of control. superlites are made by a british company and have australian WIA certification, which even jap rims don't have. my theory is if you're prepared to drift a daily driven car you spent lots of time and money on, it's more rockstar than some precious little machine that only comes out one day every month. let your nuts hang low.
  10. I take my VW to a mate in Cheltenham... does the whole VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) range if that helps. If it's out of service warranty that is, if it isn't take it to your stealer. Let me know if you want details.
  11. there's no rule that says you can't drift a boso sled. in fact, by that generalisation, then nga's need to stop drifting soarers. cos lets face facts, soarers were only ever built to break down.
  12. lol for once I concur with the "my road car is a race car" crew. but I'd put money on the fact that its a product of a bunch of lads at a workshop getting bored and deciding to do something for shits n giggles.
  13. lies. you can look at it funny, but you can't sneeze while in it. that's breaking point IMHO.
  14. i'd hit it. superlites for flawless victory. challengers will make you look like a povo 86 driver on a maccas wage.
  15. Paintjob colour may vary depending on what I have for dinner the day before.
  16. I've got an auto Cefiro with a stock RB20DET. It's P Plate legal (being a 4 door passenger car and under power/weight ratio).
  17. I too would like to make a deposit on your supra. I'll even give you a couple of options... bonnet or roof, and swirls or stripes.
  18. http://www.evisu.com/
  19. cos i can.
  20. farkin, ordered a pair of jeans a fortnight ago from japan and they've stil not shipped it. lazy japanese kents.
  21. lol I'm not sure if I did, but I remember saying "if you can mod an xbox you can flash your xanavi firmware". But yes, finding JTAG pins and flashing etc is very tedious, so best not to attempt it if you're not comfortable with that stuff.
  22. unffffffffffffffff
  23. lol $4500 is about 75% of the price of your car. Why not sell and trade up with spare cash? betcha an R32 GTR (should come within your budget if you sold the gtst and added the extra cash) with a service is as reliable and fast as your GTSt.
  24. in like a mofo. the guy at rock kung asked me a fortnight ago where you kents were lately.
  25. if any dropkick gets in a car I've got for sale and starts taking it to 5500-6000rpm constantly the only thing he can expect is to be left by the curbside with a black eye. as said before, stock turbos will give you a noticeable increase in induction by 2500 RPM ("start spooling" in layman's terms) and should reach peak in the high 4000 RPM area ("full boost" in layman's terms). If it's not doing this, then it's either modified with a larger turbo, got an aftermarket boost controller, or sporting a boost leak somewhere that's preventing the turbo functioning optimally.
