  1. lol I'm not sure if I did, but I remember saying "if you can mod an xbox you can flash your xanavi firmware". But yes, finding JTAG pins and flashing etc is very tedious, so best not to attempt it if you're not comfortable with that stuff.
  2. unffffffffffffffff
  3. lol $4500 is about 75% of the price of your car. Why not sell and trade up with spare cash? betcha an R32 GTR (should come within your budget if you sold the gtst and added the extra cash) with a service is as reliable and fast as your GTSt.
  4. in like a mofo. the guy at rock kung asked me a fortnight ago where you kents were lately.
  5. if any dropkick gets in a car I've got for sale and starts taking it to 5500-6000rpm constantly the only thing he can expect is to be left by the curbside with a black eye. as said before, stock turbos will give you a noticeable increase in induction by 2500 RPM ("start spooling" in layman's terms) and should reach peak in the high 4000 RPM area ("full boost" in layman's terms). If it's not doing this, then it's either modified with a larger turbo, got an aftermarket boost controller, or sporting a boost leak somewhere that's preventing the turbo functioning optimally.
  6. my bad... this one
  7. I get what you're sayin, but personally I'd rather be sunken and not stand out from the crowd than be mexican and look like I snapped up a cheap pair of rims that came up for sale without paying attention to offset or fitment. You're gonna get hated on by the "my road car is a race car, and it will not have gangster fitment because it's not optimal in race conditions, that my car will never see" crew, and also by the fitment nazi's. It's a lose lose situation. It's not that bad... pump guard, more camber, slam. fixed.
  8. yes. what is your point?
  9. apparently the only thing I'm allergic to is about 500gm and more of Cadbury milk chocolate bars. wtf. anyways... just bought two of these to write off on tax. w00t. http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/p...tor-dell-u2311h
  10. take your diff housing and all out and put another diff in? cheaper and faster isn't it?
  11. what? you just use a good tyre fitting machine with a high pressure line to blast the tyre seal onto the seat of the rim if it's a small stretch. if it's a larger stretch you use a bicycle tyre to bridge the gap, and then pull it out as the tyre has been stretched far enough to seat itself properly. wtf is a baby elephant? lol it's just kinda mexican cos it doesn't fit under or anywhere near the guards, maybe with more camber and massaging of the guards you might be able to get em under. The first pic looks doable, but the way that wheel's sitting in this pic... good luck.
  12. usenet. /thread
  13. you can hook a JTAG up and recover, but it's best to try and avoid the situation
  14. swap diff?

  22. can't remember the series, but Kumho's have fairly thick/reinforced sidewalls. They perform well when under tension.
  23. 225/40/18's yeah.
  24. 225 on 9.5" didn't need anything special, just a tyre bar and a fitting machine.
