  1. well whoever just bought an iPad got shafted, they just announced at WWDC that they're gonna be shipping newer models supporting Facetime, which requires a forward facing camera. Which the current models don't have
  2. they're just covers that go on your lights. $300 is a bit excessive for em, they used to come up in japanese auctions for $80 to $100 for a set. they look kinda ugly when fitted anyway as they remove the characteristic sunken stoveplate look.
  3. they don't have an annual in-app renewal feature? weak.
  4. what are these 15" and 16" things you talk of? How do you spell that? "W... E... A... K"? 18+ or GTFO. Your car is gonna stand out like a midget in purple pantaloons, do yourself a favour and make sure your wheels are just as outrageous.
  5. sig? ah shit. saved your old avatar tho edit: wait, you never had a sig!
  6. I see... how often do you get on the track then? and no, motorkhana days doing one lap wonders don't count. When was the last sprint or enduro race you entered? Cos a radiator that size is only ever gonna be of use when you have massive heat soak to dissipate. You're running a thrmo fan with no shroud on a street driven car, which will result in pisspoor airflow through the fins in stop start low speed driving. It's true, I hardpark my daily... ever since I got 3 dents in my daily at deca i refuse to track em. That's why I have a perfectly good stripped out, rollcaged race car sitting at driftline for when I got out to winton etc (running a triple core koyo rad and a couple of thermo fans off some ford)... which is for sale btw, as I won't have a shop to maintain it or time to race it. What I'm getting at is that making a daily driver into a "track ready" car is an expensive, uncomfortable process. You'd be better off just buying a cheap second car and going balls out on making it an all out track car. Your car's emo enough as it is, the more you push it, the more things are gonna break. </ethug>
  7. no that's just prime example of you being a knobjockey for buying something totally unnecessary for the power that you are making and the way your car is gonna be used.
  8. snowball's moved onto a younger maiden, that's the problem.
  9. ugh, people go to baba's still? way better mamaks on this side of town.
  10. Kristian. Time to display some testicular fortitude. Step 1. pick up a cheap set of OZ Racing Futura wheels on YAJ. Step 2. bust em apart Step 3. order the right width barrels out of germany/uk to attain flushness. Step 4. powdercoat that shit to match the cube Step 5. dump it on its arse (airbags recommended) use the Nissan Micra kit out of the UK or go homebrew locally Step 6. Assume title of king baller... and profit.
  11. lol thanks, just googled novacheck to find out what it was... but this has me thinking... instead of goin with tartan (so bit more reading, tartan is plaid, the latter is what the yanks call it incorrectly, so burberry is a plaid) I'm thinking something like a Damask or Paisley for that oldschool look... yeah I'll leave it alone for now.
  12. sup? guess it is done?
  13. cos it looks like this atm:
  14. your man is a gay pornstar who happens to be a bad ass. Wikipedia says he enjoys being the spitroast.
  15. that's like some n00blet to imports comin in and rocking an RB30ET in his R33 GTSt cos it's a higher capacity engine. Its same same but different, but anyone who knows anything about em will call him out for running an SOHC like a n00b. the 1 piece VS-SS's don't sport rivets, just the 2 piece ones, which are the ones everyone buys, cos they allow for mad dish options... as demonstrated.
  16. when they're not closed, and when I'm there... otherwise you might have to shout someone lunch cool story bro... Work VS SS OK so I read some more on this plaid shit. Apparently burberry is no go, and burberry is not plaid. It HAS to be Interlagos plaid, which is red silver and black. Anything else is not kosher with the VAGer's. Fuck. That. Shit.
  17. we're rolling out all our sales and publicity staff with 3G ipads (with enterprise apps that aren't available on the regular appstore) to push products and give presentations. Also they can better manage their email on the road, plug it in and have it sync up with our main systems all without having to deal with the intricacies of it. Also something we've come to realise... executives like shiny objects.. really, an app that I made which shows sales figures on an iPad sold more of the product than a regular excel spreadsheet and graph on a lappy.
  18. yeah red plaid will go read well on a blue car with black and cream leather interior. thank christ you're not an interior designer.
  19. look in the background retard. it's the same show the other cars are at.
  20. not quite japanese, but it's in japan
  21. don't tell me you got 2 piece VS-SS in front and monoblock VS-SS's on the rear? yeah already got the boser bonnet extension from the UK. metal hood extension, weld on then paint to match. Just collecting all the body parts to put on at the same time and paint together. Next on the cards is an OEM HID swap, also out of an R32. Also, this whole plaid interior is fuckin growing on me like a mad bitch. just for roof lining and pillars n stuffs... maybe gearstick boot as well. Not too keen on rocking the Burberry design though.
  22. found out what that MK5 R32 front bar looks like.... ...like ass!
  23. btw epsy... I may have 18" faboulous wheels for sale soon if you wanna go that "Exe" look. you'd want 19" minimum on that car though 19x9.5 and 19x10.5
