Licensed 1990 R32 GTR gun metal grey that I personally imported from Japan in 2005. The car is licensed and comes with 6 months WA rego and was always well maintained with Motul oils and was tuned by Hyperdrive. I decided to sell the project due to poor health. Since owning the GTR I had done a few modifications and decided to strip the engine bay etc for a full respray when some person decided it would be a good idea to key it all over. At the moment the engine , gear box and engine bay components have been taken out ready for a respray, all interior is still in place. The body is rust free. The engine had no issues when it was in the car and had about 160psi in all six pots. I was going to produce these. I had a mould made up out from one I bought from a mate in Japan. I never got around to making them, I started making the R32 GTR - R33 grill instead.

From memory it was around 3 grand ish for the billet crank.

I bought a Fardon 2.8L crank for my GTR so if I ever get it finished I hope it works ok. I'm using pauter rods and step 2 HKS pistons.

R33 GTR kakimoto racing, 3.5", gt 1.0z, extremely light titanium exhaust, 1 small flat spot-nothing major, ran perfect and sounded tough as on r33 GTR, comes with silencer also. I'm shopping around for a spray painter to to a metal respray on my GTR. I notice a silver GTR at Murays in Lansdale. Anyone here know who's it is? Anyone have dealings with Murrays Panel & Paint before?

So you can buy an american made bosch 85amp alternator with wiring kit to fit a R32 GTR. Have you got a part number by any chance?

Does anyone know if there is much modification need to get a R33 GTR exhaust to fit up to a R32 GTR? Besides the hanger placements will the pipe work fit? Cheers R

Is anyone a mechanic or works in an automotive store that can shed light on what are the best brands for sockets and spanners that are of a trade quality? I know snap on is one of the best, but you need drug money to buy it. Repco are good and warranty is easy to get. Kinchrome are ok and the you have SP racing tools. My tools so far are a mix of Kinchrome and SP racing tools. I was told by a rep ( probably full of Shit) that SP racing tools come out of the same factory as snap on? The design is near on the same. Anyone know for sure? Cheers Rob

When you got your panel work done did you have to get the under body sills straightened out? I find on my GTR there are major indents where snapper heads have jacked it up on the past. Did you do bare metal respray? If so was it soda blast or paint stripper? Cheers Rob PS this has also inspired me to rebuild my GTR.

Hey John, Few things in between have got in the way of my build. Also My car is getting a bare metal respray as well, so its taken a while to get all the rubbers together etc etc etc Even getting R34 GTR dump pipes have proven to be near on impossible. So at the moment trying to coordinate rebuild on motor and shell respray. Anyways I will subscribe to this build to see how it progress's. Rob

Who's LF? Ants going to build it, that will deff be a machine. With Ant doing it must around 30K+ easy. Hope to see more pics. Are you doing any modifications to the STD gearbox, brakes, clutch etc? What compression are you going for? Turbo configuration? Have you decided on a cam duration and lift yet? R
