I have searched the entire forum before asking this, aswell as UK skyline forum. My new nismo meter set won't read speed correctly ( ie shows im doing 120kph when im actually doing 50 kph etc ) and HICAS light stays on. I have done the following so far to fix these problems : 1. Fit a brand new speedo cable. 2. Checked oil levels for HICAS 3. Changed over speed sensor as the back of dash for orig cluster that was working fine. 4. Checked Battery power level, which is a dry cell optima yellow top with plenty of juice left in it. The nismo set is meant to be plug and play.... Don't or shouldn't need calibration or a addon gear reduction box etc....... Also speed reads correctly via Apexi power FC hand controller LCD display ....... are there any skyline guru's out there that could possibly shed light on this situation.......... or offer a solution. I won't take it to nissan for them to charge me countless hours for them to try and find the problem and come to the same point as me nor a exclusive over priced performance shop that I will shell out $'s for them to try and find problem with no solution. any help would be greatly appreciated. Full set of 17inch x 8inch +30 offset rims. Plus one brand new unused spare rim. Currently fitted on my R32 GTR. Rims only. Comes with warranty. Similar looking to BBS mesh type rims. The rims will take up to 255 width tyres as I have currently fitted on them. $1400 ONO or will trade for a set of R32 GTR stock rims plus cash difference. PM or email me rfkarl@hotmail.com

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has ever fitted a nismo dash ( white cluster set ) to a R32 GTR? I have the following problems : 1. The Hicas light is on all the time. 2. The speedo readings wrong. ie indicates im doing 120 when I'm doing sixty. I have already checked all the fuses. I have already pulled out the dash and checked the speedo cable ( as in pulled and pushed on little square insert and seems to be in one piece) do I have to calibrate the speedometer? My old speed was a 260 KPH this one is 320KPH is there anything else I can check for do? also the part numbers on the nismo set are the early set which is for my 1990 GTR. any advise would help me out. cheers rob
