i was going to make the same topic about a racing chip 4 my r33 my mates have been telling me to install a chip but i have no idea who does it wat brand i should use and how much it would cost so if anyone could help in this thread it would be great

whats the front bar is it custom or can it be bought?

yeh after all the replies i decided to stick with my k&n high flow filter the weather beginning to get cooler and im starting to notice much more power so it will keep me happy 4 a while thanx 4 all the opinions

this intercooler style air filter is all about the cold air intake nothing to do with being hard and trying to imitate turbo skylines i have seen how my car runs wen receiving cold air opposed to warmer air and the performance difference is significant imagine how much cold air will be sucked in if u had one of these but im still not sure wether to go ahead and buy it because it really hasnt been done before or i havent seen it myself so my confidence level is low but then again if get educated respones it might tell me yes or no

oh ok sounding good so far haha ive never seen it on a car before so its new to me and probably a lot of people

the advertisment did not specify power gains neither did any search results the fact that it will be in direct exposure to cold air is a desirable feature but then i thought what if it rains its has a perspex cover for rain with holes for air flow but could be risky but otherwise im not sure hopefully someone else can add to this thread some EDUCATED KNOWLEDGE

HEY all , im thinking of buying a INTERCOOLER STYLE AIR FILTER from autotecnica 80 mm diameter and 1 metre long chrome with cover to protect from water $160 plus $30 for piping i think this would be awesome for cold air intake better that a pod air filter but im writing this thread for suggestions and to see wat other non turbo skyline owners think

YO VEEDKA TOLD YA IMPORTERS THE WAY AND U CHOSE WELL U WENT FOR ENVY IMPORTS I GOT MY CAR FROM THERE 2 MONTHS AGO I HAD A LOOK AT UR CAR WEN IT FIRST ARRIVED AT ENVY WHEN I WAS PIKIN MY CAR UP THATS HAHA I KNOW HOW MUCH UR CAR WAS LOL AND I CHECKED THE WHOLE CAR OUT ITS ALRIGHT NEED INTERIOR DETAILING WEN I SAW IT BUT SHOULD BE ALL GOOD ENJOY

for sure dude 3 - 6 months is a good time period for looking and i think u can find wat u want because ur giving urself time good luck try to have fun in the holden nova for now

has importing crossed ur mind have u got a mate with an import licence importing saves u thousands if u can do stuff urself like compliance and on road cert stuff importers would buy a r33gts for like around 4 grand and thats how they make there profit i imported my car from envy imports in manly i got r33 gts 1994 m-spec body kit 16" aftermarket rims MD cd player 87'000 kms for $12000 all together $13500 to get it registered and on the road and transfered etc etc i think i got a nice car for an alright price and im happy with that for now cause im only 16 the importing thing is just a suggestion

hey bro , i recommend u go 4 a r33 with rb25de engine i would try and stay away from the 2l engine in a r33 due to the weight of the r33 compared to the capacity of the rb20de in my point of view r33's are much morre stylish i have had mine for 5 weeks and its been a dream it has no guts up 2 bout 3800 rpm but then after that when u start playing with the car and step on the gas it has a bit better punch also the handling is crazy and mines still stock suspension no strut braces or nuffin and the car just takes sharp corners like there nuffin and u will love it wen the turbo cars are slowing down for the corner and for the middle of the corner and u will be long gone outta it try and buy from an importer the cars from jap have low k's and pretty good order and u leave out the middle man so it saves u money

sorry if this has been asked already but how can you succesfully wire up a autometer monster tacho into a r33 gts-t

i also want side skirts and/or body kits can someone recommend a dealer or a place i can get them from
