  1. You have been sent a pull type clutch which is the correct type of clutch for a 1994 gtr, your gearbox has been changed to a push type. Post a pic of where the slave cylinder bolts to the gearbox, it might have been converted to a push type.
  2. Talk to Full-race about a Borg Warner EFR, go see them in person if they aren't too far away from you.
  3. Around the 6 minute mark you can see the exhaust side setup.
  4. That is a horrible deal, email jesse streeter for a much better price.
  5. Well click on the full-race link to determine which one the supra is, the evo results would be a mix of those 2 and the RB25 result is in the old borg warner thread, the car is from nsw.
  6. Full-race has dyno sheets and videos on their website of a supra running a 7670 and it makes 489.61hp in the video and 524.75hp on the dyno sheet http://www.full-race.com/store/efr-series/turbos-efr-series/borgwarner-efr-7670-turbo-2.html/. There's also plenty of evo results with the 7670 making 500hp+ and in the old borg warner thread someone went 500hp with a 7670 on their RB25. Where is the confusion coming from?
  7. The holes in the sub frame do not become larger over time, they are drilled larger from factory to help with the assembly process. These are cars that are built on an assembly line, not hand built like a Bugatti Veyron or a Ferrari 458, Nissan gives zero f**ks for a something that is out up to 5mm (case in point the rear of the car being offset in one direction) all they care about is how cheaply they can make something. With the rear of the car the diameter of the pin that holds the sub frame are 20mm and the holes drilled in the sub frame bushes are 21.4mm. How is the spoon kit going to push the sub frame 5-10 mm to one side? I did have a laugh at Mr speedhunters article, this quote was one of the best If the sub frame was moving around there would be paint off everywhere around the nut, the sub frame was bolted up that way from factory and hasn't moved since, it looks like that was the first time is has been undone since new. Another thing that i found weird is why didn’t he post a picture of the nuts done up once the collars were installed to show the difference they made? This guy gets it.
  8. The part number i got from nissan FAST using a R34 gtr vin number, i also done a general search to make sure there wasn't any difference between gt-4, v spec, m spec or n1, the gt-4 lists a different part number but all the gtr's use the same 54401-AA300- part number.
  9. 54401-AA300- is the part number, Amayama lists it at $1200+ postage. Talk to race pace to see if they can straighten it or know anyone who can.
  10. Tomei do a stud and nut kit (pretty sure it's just rebranded ARP) that replaces all the bolts with studs. perfect run or RHD Japan Part numbers for washer that goes between the cam cap and bolt 01311-00711, bolt 13058-59S00, the washer on top of the baffle plate 08915-4361A, spring washer 08915-1361A and the nut 08911-20610. The place to get them would be Amayama or RHD Japan. Could you do me a favor and measure the height of your flywheel?
  11. What sort of work would need doing - Lots How expensive - Again lot What would i need - A donor 2 door R34 or brand new parts from nissan and a good panel beater that can do custom work This should give you an idea of whats required http://www.carscoops.com/2016/09/nissan-skyline-r34-gt-r-gets-4-door.html
  12. The input shafts are different between a gtr and gts, the gts-t and gtr are the same input shaft. Paying them is up to you but having the gearbox in and out 6 time last year is beyond a joke. That damage didn't happen because of the nismo twin plate coppermix. You clearly sound like you don't trust your mechanic to do the work, i'd personally just buy a brand new and forget about the patrol gearset, unless you want to have the gearbox in and out 6 times this year as well.
  13. The first picture is a RB20/25 crank gear, the second RB26 crank gear. The diameter of the raised face on the RB26 crank gear is a few mm bigger than the RB20/25 crank gear, other than that there aren’t other differences. This may have something to do with the RB26 crank bolt being torqued to 450N-m as opposed to the RB20/25 crank bolt that only gets torqued to 150N-m, that's the only reason i can think of them being different.
  14. Why not just buy a brand new gearbox? http://www.rhdjapan.com/nissan-oem-5-speed-manual-transmission-bcnr33-rb26dett.html
  15. If the seller damaged the seals during installation, he should have to pay for it, simple.
  16. If fluid is getting past the seal then either the bore is damaged, the piston is damaged or the seal was damaged during installation. Here's a crazy idea, contact whoever you bought the calipers from and tell them they leaking. What's the point in buying "rebuilt" calipers when you have to rebuild them yourself?
  17. The standard R34 GTT brakes lines go from the body to the knuckle in a rubber lines then from the knuckle to the caliper in a metal line. As KiwiRS4T said did you tell alpha omega you had aftermarket braided lines on your car already? Your car isn't in their workshop so they have no idea what is on your car, if you don't give them information they can't give you answers.
  18. What did you pay for them in yen from the auctions or where ever you bought them from in Japan? That isn't a true comparison when there are variables like exchange rate, and were the shipping, compliance and registration costs the same for both cars?
  19. What did you do to yours? The part number is 14075-05U00- and the place to buy it from is Amayama
  20. I would recommend replacing the 2 rubber hoses as well, here are the part numbers. Water hose 14055-05U01- Water hose 14055-05U02- Metal tube 14498-05U14-
  21. Yeah that ugly integrated bov on the compressor housing that gets rid of 2km of factory bov pipe work out of your engine bay. Got a link for this brand new $2300 Precision 6262 kit? It's a gtr, it sits in the shed and you look at it not drive it If you can wait until May next year i will have results on my 7670 T4 external gate vs -7 twins.
  22. I typed "R34 gtr factory suspension settings" into google and that was the second result i got.
  23. The cheapest place I have found selling them for are the following 2 places in England. I’m looking at a 7670 T4 external gate and the cheapest i could find in Australia is $2875, the 2 below are $2030 posted to my door. http://www.hybridturbos.com/shop/borgwarner-efr-turbos/ http://www.turbodynamics.co.uk/shop/performance-turbos-borg-warner-efr-series-c-1050_1286.html If you want to buy locally email mtq, munt-WA said he got a good price on a 9174 from them. Turbotech list their prices and are cheaper than anything advertised I could find in Australia http://www.mtqes.com.au/ http://www.turbotech.com.au/products/performance-turbos/
  24. If it says nismo on the box idiots will pay more for it.
  25. I count 16 on carsales and 8 of them are under $30k or under.
