R34 Gtr Prices -price Projections?
Sick_R31 replied to SLY33's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Don't forget the saying about buying a GTR "If you can't afford 2, you can't afford to buy and maintain 1" As for prices look at the examples of below, $20k for a written off one and 2.5 million yen for a 281,000km old, rust holes you can fit your fist through one. -
Whoever told you that please go headbutt them. I have been running e85 for the past 4 years and left 40L in the tank while the car was off the road for 10 months and nothing bad has happened.

Sick_R31 replied to taz2069's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Just found this http://alphaomegaracing.com/i/15/Z33-Z34-6-Speed-Gearbox-Conversion-Part-1-Adaption.html http://alphaomegaracing.com/i/16/Z33-Z34-Gearbox-Conversion-Part-2.html http://alphaomegaracing.com/i/18/Z33-Z34-6-Speed-Gearbox-Conversion-Part-3-Finale.html Alpha omega wouldn't machine more than 9mm off the bellhousing. -

You are going to have to change diff ratios as well if you want to match or drop the revs you are doing now on the highway. The auto box has a 0.694 4th gear ratio, the 350/370z has a 0.794 6th gear ratio and the RB25det has a 0.752 5th gear ratio. Cheapest option (if you don't want a second hand gearbox) is buy a brand new 5 speed and change the diff ratios. Another option is a Tremec T56 and adaptor plate -

Sick_R31 replied to wildeagle44's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
That's not the part he is after, the one circled in red is When you go to section 341 on fast it shows it as part of the gear stick not a separate part, -
(r34) Gtr Vs Gt-t Rear End / Chassis
Sick_R31 replied to Marek0086's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
According to FAST yes to the diff housing (gtr non v spec), no to the diff centre and rear cross member. -
My car still starts so i will be there.
-
R33 gtr non v-spec rear end is what you want. 2 way mechanical diff from factory and just has bigger everything compared to the gtst.

Standard R32 GTR 99090-05U15- Vspec R32 GTR 99090-12U00- or 99090-12U05- Punch your vin number into FAST and look in section 991, get the part number and let amayama do the rest

The RB20/25/30 crank gears are all the same, the RB26 crank gear is different. Torque specs for the screws are 3.7-5.0 Nm and i would recommend using red loctite on the screws.

R32 gtr iac with both hoses as pictured. Hoses are 6 months/1500km old. $100 including postage.
-
6 x 700cc Sard/Denso power enterprise top feed 11mm injectors. Only done a couple of runs on the dyno before they were replaced with larger id1000's. $300 including postage.

R32 Gtr Rear Diff In Bnr34...
Sick_R31 replied to xanavinismo's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
The R32 GTR uses bushes at the front of the diff, the bush is the same across the R32, R33 and R34. The rear diff cover on a R32 GTR is 2 bolt not 4 bolt, only the GTS variants run the 4 bolt rear diff cover. With the 2 bolt spacing on the R32 it's the same as the R33 and R34. I can confirm the R32 and R33 rear half shafts are the same length. Nissan lists the same part number across the R32 - R34 GTR's Left 39601-05U00 Right 39600-05U00. The only thing you can run into with the R32 diff is the early model ones had 30 spline axle flanges and the later model had 31 spline. Nissan FAST lists the changeover as February 1993. If you are only going to rebuild the stock 2 way mechanical diff or run the nismo GT pro (it comes with new axle flanges) this won't be a problem, if you are going to run the quaife ATB helical LSD you will need the 31 spline axle flanges. -
