  1. I have just ordered a SS split dump with the pipe extension. I do not intend to hi-flow the turb so am happy with it as is. However, is there any reason in the future why the pipe could not be shortened from its current length, or modified to suit?
  2. I would also like to get a cat in your next GB.
  3. The R34 pipe is a straight fit. The reason I was after mild steel is apparently the extremes of climate in Canberra can cause cracking in the stainless. still, if they are made of high quality stainless...........
  4. Hi Bass, Yep still in. Series 11, black anodised with scoop and would love to get the unicorn engraved. Can you post up the price for that too. cheers Luke
  5. My wife loves the practicality of the wagon, combined with a bit more poke than she was used to. She is really concerned about the economy, but is happy when I explain it will go better and use less fuel when I put in the DFA and IEBC sitting in the garage. I was waiting till I got the split dump pipe & exhaust, but I might just have to bite the bullet and install them.
  6. If you were to post up some pictures of the custom Autech Stagea you would get a heap of considered opinions on whether it was worth buying
  7. How did you go? Did you get through Rego OK?
  8. Geez Mate, Glad you got out of that one OK. I bet you would have had to change the dacks, for sure!
  9. That looks really well done. Love the wheels, they give it a real different look. Happy Cruzin...
  10. I think that it takes a bit of good old Aussie ingenuity to undertake a project like this. Well done. Hopefully everything hangs together well, and you finally get some fun out of the Stag!
  11. Very nice Ride. Looks identical to mine, colour, body kit, wheels etc. - except you have the leather and woodgrain option, so its an RS4V. I am sure that you will enjoy it as much as I am. Better get used to people doing double-takes as they go past!
  12. No worries here Bass. I will be fitting up some electronic engine management goodies soon, so will be focussed on that over the next few weeks. The Radiator Deflector will be a nice finishing touch, and will help the Stag breathe better when I put on the twin dump pipe soon. A bit of extra time to get it looking schmick is no probs. Cheers
  13. I reckon both look pretty good. I do like the Series 2 with the Neo, and unlike many, I really enjoy the tiptronic. Its pretty good too, when giving it some stick. I also enjoy changing with the lever too, nice clicking progression, although its the reverse of my XR6T. One thing that really impresses with the Neo engine tho, is the smoothness of the thing. It just keeps revving out. Cant wait to let it breathe a bit better. I must say that the lights on the Series 1 look better. Still, at least people notice the Stag.......I get heaps of blokes nearly breaking their necks to have a look, going WTF!
  14. The Stag you saw probably was mine. Been back and forth to Gungahlin the last few days. Nice to see some schmick looking lines around.
  15. Hi Bass, I would want the front scoop for my series 2, running a highflow panel filter. Black anodised and engraved. Let me know final pricing & payment method. Cheers, Luke
  16. Great to hear that you finally gottem. Should look great!
  17. Hi Bass, I know this is probably obvious, but this example doesnt have the air scoop to the factory airbox intake, as per previous examples. Can we see the prototype with the scoop? Cheers Luke
  18. Yep, that purple one does it for me. Mind you, they all look good. Shows what a nice beast the Stag is to work with. If you are going to be using it as a daily driver, something like that would be good. A full custom Kandy Pearl coated number would be a mite tempting for a bogan to scratch....
