Good News! As of today the 32 is now licensed. It only 2 attempts at the pits and: 1. New Diff 2. 2 attempts at interior carpet 3. New Rims 4. New Headlight 5. New Front Intruson Bar 6. New Chasis Rails 7. A Straigtened Floor 8. Replaced Steering Rack Seals 9. New Park Lights. 10. New Seat Belts 11. New Back seat. Bad News: In extensively degreasing the Engine Bay I have found a giant crack through the bottom of the gearbox. So its time for a new gear box. Did anybody else see this coming?

Hey Guys, I went into repco and said I needed to replace the Steering Rack boots on a r32 and they couldn't tell me which one was needed. They suggested removing them and bringing them in, I feel a little uneasy doing so incase they dont have the part so I was hoping someone would have the part number. Any help would be brilliant cheers guys. Andrew

hks - ANODISED DURALUMIN CENTRE WITH NICKEL PLATED GEAR TEETH - duralium - synthetically made alloy - aluminium with 4.4% copper, 1.5% magnesium and 0.6% manganese. So its probably more flexible strong then strength strong. tomei - are made from just duralium with no nickel. I am not to sure if this makes it stronger or not but the masses seem like them. jun - I cannot find any info on these to be able to comment but my bet is duralium and nickel or steel.
