Unfortunatly the air vents all shattered in the crash. Front cross member is pretty mangled and useless. Power steering pump was destroyed too. Skyblue: I have the rear brakes and discs still. As to them being twin piston, I dont know. I dont know technical stuff. They are just the stock brakes that came with 92 model R32 GTS-Ts. I will reply to all emails when i get home tonight.

I'm ready to sell most bits off my wrecked R32. Main part I want to get rid of is the read half of the car (from the back of the doors to the rear). This includes exterior panels, window, wiper, rear bar etc. No lights as I sold them. Does not include wheels or sub frame or diff or anything (although the subframe is available for sale too). So yeah, it's basically the rear half of the car without the bits on it. Someone make me an offer on this and come pick it up I also have the following parts off the car and ready for sale: Stock intercooler Passenger side rear light. Full interior carpet (in very good condition, grey in colour) Interior roof trim Rear seat (excellent condition) Body kit consisting of side skirts, front lip and rear side skirts As well as plenty of small bits and pieces such as rear view mirror, indicator control stick, boot release lever etc. If there is something you're after, let me know cause I might have it. Last night on my way home from the North Shore cruise, I dropped me mate off at his place in St Leonards, and started back to my place. I live in Willoughby, and I always cut through to back of Artarmon to get home. Anyway, as soon as I get off the pacific Hwy, this car pulls up behind (very close) and follows me for ages. He kept getting close and I stayed on 50 (thats the limit on those streets). I got to the lights outside Artarmon St, and as soon as they turned green, as dashboard light started flashing in the car behind me so I pulled over. This cop came up to me and said it was a random breath test (hardly random when he'd followed me for ages). I did fine on that, then he took my license to his car and checked it out. He came back and asked if it was my skyline. I said yes and asked if there was a problem. He said he pulled me over because I had gone through the industrial zone of Artarmon and apparently alot of Skylines go that way to get away from the cops (according to him anyway). Now, I then said that he just told me he pulled me over for a random breath test, to which he simply handed me back my license, said good night and walked off. Now, I am not pissed at the cop, because to me it was OBVIOUS that he knew I had done nothing wrong. It was like he was under orders to do this sort of thing (he didn't seem too happy about it, is what I am trying to say). That is just crap, becuase it means that he's not the one who is annoying, it's whoever gave him his orders who is. Anyway, end of rant.

I dont want to risk driving without my p plates on. Knowing my luck, the one time I do it, I will be pulled over. One thing I NEVER do is speed up when being tailgated. Even if it's not a cop car, it could be a plain-clothed cop driving it. Although you could get seriously injured if someone tailing you hits you, you are not in the wrong, they are. Do not speed up. Things you can do to get them to back off is slow down slightly. Another thing is use your windscreen washer. the water will splash on their car and usually when someone sees something hit their windscreen they instinctively slow down. Trust me, this does work.

I think P's are the biggest farce ever I am on the green ones. the test to get them was just a revenue raiser for the RTA. All the plates do is attract the attention of cops, and makes other motorists try to push you around.

I have the same thing (I think, maybe slightly different model number, not sure). I can't get any TV reception at all I have a DVD player for it as well, and I can't even get that to work If there are any japanese stereo gurus here, I could use some help!

Thanks dude. I know all cops aren't crap like the ones i saw on Sunday, but just lately I seem to be seeing alot of rude, arrogant cops. They give the good cops a bad rap, seriously. So far I haven't been pulled over in my skyline (got pulled over a few times in the pulsar, not for speeding or anything though).

I wont dignify such an ignorant question with an answer. I am just really annoyed that when there is so much crime happening out there, the cops feel the need to try and pressure people into breaking the law so they can then book them. I didn't do anything wrong, and I refused to speed up, as I always do when some dickhead tails me and tries to make me speed up. As for slowing down to 15kph under the limit, wouldn't they still pull you over for driving too slow and holding up the flow of the traffic then? But I think Merli's suggestion is the best. I will keep that in mind if this ever happens again.

I haven't posted here for ages (not that I ever posted much in the first place). I just wanted to share an experience I had on the weekend. I was driving along the pacific highway coming up towards Hornsby (this was on Sunday arvo). Going along at the speed limit and this cop car speeds up behind me and sits on my arse for like 10 minutes. All the time, he's backing off slightly, then speeding back up (as if to try and get me to speed up, which I refused to do). What made this even worse, was other motorists were speeding past us and the cops still stayed on my arse. This went on until I eventually turned off the highway (I expected the cops to still follow me then, but didn't). This sort of thing really pisses me off. Not only is it irresponsible and dangerous, but it is proving that some cops are wankers and do not do their jobs correctly. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against cops. Some of them are fantastic and do a great job, but then you get wankers like these guys who make the streets more dangerous instead of safer. But, of course, they see the skyline, with P plates on it and think they can get away with doing shit like this. Seriously, if something had happened and I had to stop suddenly, my car would have been totalled and I would have been seriously hurt cause there would be no way the cops would have been able to stop in time. End of rant

Hey guys, I am looking at buying an R32 GTS turbo. Doesn't have to have mods (actually, if it means it's cheaper, I will prefer it not to be modded - hey, I can always mod it later). I would prefer manual transmission, however autos may be considered if the price is good. I'm not particularly fussed about colour, or fancy rims etc. I am in Sydney, however I am willing to travel interstate for the right car. I dont have a huge budget here, but I think what I am after should be within that budget. If anyone can help it would be most appreciated. Thanks

UT 2003 is fairly ordinary I think they removed the Assault mod FFS!!!! that mod ruled in the original UT. oh well, I didn't pay for it so it's ok oh, you only need the first 2 cds. The 3rd is extra stuff you dont need, so when it asks you to insert the 3rd cd, just press cancel and you will be sweet plus a word of warning, it's pretty resource-hungry, so you'd better have a good video card and CPU!

I also hear that insurance is a major bitch on skylines for people under 25, so if it's too high then I wont get one for a more years
