How long has your fuel filter been on for? Might want to change that.

Hi mate I had the same problem in my R32, I tried the velcro it worked for a week or so but just kept falling off after that, so what I ended up doing is joining a few cable ties together and placing them around the PFC and through the standard bracket bolt holes and pulling it tight, if that makes sense. Seems to work pretty good but took a bit of fiddling around to get it right, cable ties are dirt cheap anyway so its worth a try

Dont need one at all, just dont boost the car hard all the way to your driveway and you will be fine, I just drive below 3000rpm for the last few minutes of my driving and turn the car straight off. I have a turbo timer but I very rarely use it, there more for a wank factor.

Thats exactly what my one did when I fried it (put the battery terminals on back to front in a moment of insanity late one night) Fuel pump wouldnt prime at all and hand controller would not turn on, I ended up getting it fixed but I cant remember the name of the company that did it, ill post in here if I work it out

I just used it for the first time in my car last week, no complaints at all from me, engine runs nice and smoothly. Where have you seen it for $80 as I paid $100 for mine from AutoBarn

Hey mate I met you at Unigroup on Fri when my car was on the dyno. Thats an awesome curve, perfect for the street. Im also very happy with the tune I got, my car is soooo responsive now it feels like a whole new car to drive.

Update: well it has started working again all by it self (Weird) but now it doesnt light up at night when I put the headlights on this boost gauge really hates me

Well my laptop did flash up DANGER TO MANIFOLD and then my floor pan fell out then I noticed the boost gauge was going crazy. Ok Fast and Furious jokes aside, I attempted to open it up again lastnight but theres no way you can open it to touch the needle, and the needle and stopper are both tight, so to get there it definately somehow wound itself all the way around. Im sure ill get to the bottom of this mystery oneday!

Just thought id also post in here that my R32 GTST was doing the exact same thing, turned out to be my AFM also, replaced it with a Z32 one and all has been fine ever since.

Hi guys, I'm not really sure of which section to put this in so if this is the wrong spot then please move it. The issue i'm having is that the needle on my boost gauge seems to of somehow wound itself all the way around and it is now stuck behind the little black stopper you can see in the pic. When I turn the car on I can see the needle trying to move but its stuck behind the black thing so it cant go anywhere. I have taken the boost gauge out to see if I could somehow wind it back around myself but I cant see a way to do it, ive checked all the wiring / lines and they are all in there right spot. Does anyone have any idea what would of caused this? the digital boost readout on my turbo timer reads out as normal just the GReddy gauge is stuck for some reason. Attached pic is of my actual boost gauge when its sitting in the normal spot I don't have a pic now that its stuffed but now it just sits on the right side of the black stopper stuck there. I should also mention that I just changed from a high flow turbo back to a standard one when this problem came up but not sure if thats related in any way. thanks

Yeah its a RB20 compressor and the rear is VG30, my tuner is Yavuz at Unigroup Engineering, Im not 100% on the ks but at a guess id say 30 000

Hi guys, Currently the highflow turbo is being taken off my car as im replacing it with a standard R33 turbo as I need something with stock response. This turbo made 213rwkw at ~ 16psi on my RB20, it has the VG30 rear housing so its not the best turbo for a rb20 if your after response (not much happens before 4500rpm) but with a set of cams and cam gears to get boost happening a little earlier im sure it would be great for a RB20. My tuner said it would suit a RB25 and should push 250rwkw with no dramas at all. Basically no shaft play and turbo was high flowed by GCG. looking for $800 would prefer pick up in Sydney but can post if you pay for postage AND insurance as I dont want to be held responsible if it gets broken in transit.
