  1. Also would not surprise me if you use more fuel without it, more engine load, and the fuel maps are expecting more air, throwing the whole tune out.
  2. Hi, I just had some underirable break into my car by punching the window. Was wondering if anyone had a front windscreen for a 2 door r32 in good condition. Im located near port macquarie NSW ' 'Thanks '
  3. Im almost certain that a r31 has the same master, i know for sure that you can use a r31 slave (as i have done) Maybe take the old one off, and head to repco, and compair them. Might save a bit of dosh if they are the same (should cost 50 bucks or so)
  4. The earlier ecu's have 4 plugs, the later silver top ones have 1 big plug The NICS has NICS printed on the planium, the ECCS has ECCS on it As for telling a Silvertop ECCS from a Red Top ECCS there is a way but i've forgotten
  5. best way to get it back in is with 2 people:- Lay the box in about the right spot on the ground. Get a small rope Put the rope around the end of the gearbox. Get the helper to get in the car and pull the rope up. This will then lift the rear of the box up. You can then lift the box by the bell housing, and slide it right in. (might have to issue a few height adjustment commands to the helper 1st;)
  6. if thats the case, if you were to buy a rb25det powerfc, which is cheaper, and just modify the rb20 loom to swap the wires over, would it work?
  7. Thanks for the replys. I have not had it on a dyno yet. I forgot the mention that i do have a SAFC II hocked up to the system, still have not had it tuned yet, been holding out till I work out what i was going to do turbo wise, but, it does not register any knocking. Also does anyone have a recommendation for a dyno to use on the mid north coast?
  8. Hello, Im a bit of a learner when it comes to turbos. Now i've had my r32 gts-t for about 10months, the previous owner in japan has fitted a z32 AFM, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, the injectors im fairly sure are GT-R ones as there is a resistor pack, and they only read about 3 ohams. The ecu looks stock, but, things like the speed limitor have been removed, so i assume its been played with also. The car also has a FMIC Now, Im not quite sure how high i should turn the boost up, at the moment im running it fairly stock, as im frightened of turbo damage if i turn it up to much. Today i removed the dump pipe to have a look at the wheel, now, i don't have a clue what i was looking at so i took a picture in the hope that someone on here would be able to tell me if its ceramic or steel. The acual wheel is not all that big so i'm assuming its pretty much the stock unit..... Sorry about the poor image quality. Thanks
  9. You can goto an auto electrician and get the plugs for like $1 each or so, then just chop the old ones off, and put the new ones in.
  10. I'll take the SAFC2 for 300 if you post it to port macquarie.
  11. how far in the future would this be??
  12. Im 22, Male, '90 r32gts-t, i pay $ 780 for 10k agreed full comp with elders.
  13. hi, Im getting error 27-refigant temp sensor on my 32, will this affect operation. Also, the 3rd temp is about 4 all the time, should i just get a 2k resistor and whack in here, or, is there someplace i can get the real deal to fix it properally. For the refigant temp, would i loose my gas replacing this one?
  14. auto is 3.89 or so. manual is 3.7. From the top of my head. Both are borg whiners.
