I was talking to a guy from the Northern Territory at the nats. He had a VL commodore with a RB26 in it. I asked about engineering and he told me he didnt need it! He said that up there, its all done on displacement. So technically going from an RB30ET to a RB26DETT is a DOWNGRADE!
I dont know if he left out any info but if thats true im going to retire to the NT!
Ive heard heaps of people say that he is really good. In japan, my car was hit in the front, they repaired it well but they used some cheap grey paint to fix it and feathered it through. It has no gloss and looks almost like undercoat. It also had a scrape on the rear bar which the previous owner tried to fix. Ill try Commauto Paints in phillip first i think! Thanks.

I forgot that I already have a GTR fuel pump installed, looks like FMIC, cold air intake, pod filter and a new tune may be the first lot of stuff I do. Thanks.

I have recently set a power goal of 200 rwkw for my RB20DET R32. At the moment I have between 160rwkw and 170rwkw. The mods I have are:
3inch Exhaust
ZG30 Turbo
Boost controller running 12 - 14 psi
No A/M ECU yet. Looking at the Power FC.
Besides from a FMIC, what mods should I look at for squeezing out an extra 40kw at the wheels?
The owner before me put the VG30 turbo on it. It is a bigger turbo and has a steel wheel. I hear its good for almost 200rwkw but im not testing that theory.

I bought myself a skyline last week and because i am uncertain as to
how its previous owner treated it I am giving it a working over. I will be doing a complete service and changing the timing belt and other little things so i was wondering about resetting the ECU so it tunes itself to suit BP ULTIMATE.
I have noticed that the car has pretty bad fuel economy at the moment even when i drive it easy and I was hoping that resetting the ECU would help with that also.
Even though there are many threads dedicated to this, none of them really touch on the effect it has on aftermarket car alarms and imobilizers.
My car has a Mannix SM700 car alarm which I dont have the books for. It has a battery backup, remote start 2 sirens remote central locking and imobilzer. Does anyone have any hints they can give me so I dont stuff the settings up?
