uhhhh ? i think making your car go sideways on public roads is in a completely different league to having a blow off valve installed. Both illegal, but realistically one has a significantly higher chance of injuring yourself, others or soon enough...getting your car impounded in terms of the law. having a BOV wont even get you an infringement...getting caught drifting might have greater consequences

i have been less than impressed with Autowatch the two times i have used them. Maybe i have had bad luck The alarm would tend to go off in weather changes (hot to cold) and randomly on one of the cars. Most likely the installation, but I got it installed from quite reputable shops. Cyclops was my last alarm which i preferred.

Everyone i know that is involved with cars says its one of the last areas they would want to get into. I have always been fascinated by it though aswell. All you can do is try it i guess It would definately be a prick of a job stripping the cars, rubbing them back, painting them well and then piecing together all of the seals,interior etc etc., but if you get a contract with a dealership you can make a killing.

yeah melbourne is strange that way.. depends if you want to take the chance of attracting attention to your car. I had mine on the right because of the clever-heads and bentley garage. When i got pulled over by a cop he whinged about it and threatened to fine me $100 if he saw it there again. Might not be illegal, but it only takes one policeperson to argue otherwise and you will have a fine or be attracting them to look over the rest of your car.

aye S13's really get picked on for some reason. I had my r32 for a year with illegal tint etc and never got pulled over once in the 30'000kms i put on. Maybe they arent used to the site of a 32. Like Zanda said...dont pull your tint off yourself as you will lose your de-misters on your rear window, even if you use a heatgun. Todd uses steam to get it off. If you have troubles with the more local pits there is Marinos in Kwinana who are very easy to pass with. I got my old v8 over with a silencer gasket wedged in the exhaust. Good luck! .
