  1. So who here has there spare tyre still in there car? I'm thinking of getting rid of mine and having a repair kit instead, plus it will give me a bit more room when I do the stereo:)
  2. If you lower it with just the springs you will still need the castor and camber kit or you will chow out your new tyres, plus if you still have the original shocks in there I'd say they have had there day, so like hawks said if you can afford it get the shocks, springs and castor and camber bushes. When I done the springs in mine I found out that I was rideing just on the springs the shocks droped straight down as soon as I undone the pillow mount. Have a look here if you allready haven't http://www.uniqueautosports.com/

  4. 18x8 on the front 235/40, 18x9 on the back 255 or 265/35. Tempe Tyres will now what fits and what doesn’t I'd say they have done a few. Get a whiteline package springs and shocks lowers the car by about 30mm that's all you need any lower and the R33 don't perform well. You will also need a castor and camber kit when lowering it so you can get it wheel aligned properly.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> www.whiteline.com.au
  5. Trust/Greedy make a 3 core one that sits in the original place 192x250x119.
  6. ORSOME on a BA XR8, nice plates but he should have got a XR6T.
  7. You can get the HKS25xx series turbos (GT KIT) in a kit as such and they give you the water and oil lines and the elbow as well they are about $2500 form greenline.
  8. First thing to do would be to pull the engine down to see what sort of damage you have done then go from there. It's a waste of time and money if your only after 250rwkw, the RB25 can do it with standard internals.
  9. Or what SeriiesIIGTST said, I had a quick look but didn't see anything, to far up and to dark. vbmenu_register("postmenu_865435", true);
  10. No sorry the ones I listed are all that's in the book and some of them don't really give good description.
  11. I'm thinking it has something to with th Auto but not the plug that plugs straight into the Auto ECU because thats blue.
  12. I'm not to sure but I have seen it before I'll have to go check.
  13. I got my self a FERODO Brake pad catalogue and it has a nice list of Skyline brake pad parts numbers, now I found that most brake pad companies use the same numbers just different lettering at the start and after the numbers, sometimes they use the same numbers. R33 brake pads for the front from Bedix are DB1170 and Ferodo are DB1170. Now remmember that these are Ferodo numbers and some of the lettering could be different. This is made of Australian and import. know some of these don't make sence to me like the 91-> 2.8 ECR33, KRCR33 never heard of this one and 93-> R33 DB1165, I thought the R33's where DB1170, I could be wrong. Hopefully this will help someone out I also have a lot of other brake pad numbers if your after them just let me know and I'll post them.
  14. Yes, but it also can be tuned to take AFM's if you want.
  15. I agree with benm I would like to see GCG & HKS turbos on the same car and same Dyno.
  16. I'm pretty sure super Draggers are 3.5"
  17. As for the Auto I was thinking of a Bigger oil cooler, bigger stall converter and maybe a shift kit.
  18. I was thinking of using a Wolf3D for a ECU, I'm pretty sure you can use the one for the GTST on a GTR or RB26 and that ECU can control the Auto, just have to make sure of it first. If it does control the RB26 that would be great as I allready have one
  19. What is a good brand of diff oil to use? for a R33 GTSt?
  20. Thats why I never put "RX7" and "Reliable" in the same sentence. They can be a pain but if you get a freshly built one they can be very good. It's just something different to look at.
  21. What about a Series 1,2 or 3 RX7? Not exactly the easiest thing to work on but still look good and go good.
  22. I would look at a Camry, maybe a Magna and I would definatly look at getting a Mazda maybe a 626?
  23. No one really plays with the Auto's, plus my wife drives it more then I do. I was thinking leaving the RB26 standard other then Exhaust, filter and a little boost. Just trying to see what works, if the R33 GTST Auto box meets up, what brake upgrades I would have to do, new rotors/pads etc. Any other mods I would have to consider.
  24. I'm also interested, I've done a search but didn't come up with any thing.
  25. AP Engineering moddified the PFC to suite the auto Toyota JZX100's, so I would say that the Toyota Auto's would be easier to do. That or the Auto Toyota is more popular then a Auto Skyline and that's why they did it.
