Similar to my setup. RB26 RB30 Bottom End Compression Ratio 9.0:1 T04Z Should make 450kw at all four

If someone doesnt end up buying my setup I want to make some changes. I am aim to make 450kw at all four on pump. The engine is a forged internals RB26 with a RB30 bottom end, all the usual stuff has been done plus o-ringing etc. It has a CR of alomost 9.0:1. The questions I have are: 1) Will a Bosch 044 feeding off a surge tank that is primed by a R33 GTR Fuel pump and 700cc Injectors flow enough? 2) Will the fuel lines require upgrading in diameter? 3) Will a upgraded fuel rail and regualor be needed? 4) What diameter exhaust for a T04Z 0.96 Rear? 5) What type of wastegate ie. Size should I use to allow me to run low boost? Thanks Guys.

Thanks Guys. Well the casing that I used was from a R33 GTR and the transfer case was from my R32 GTR. I am using a RB26/30 engine which I hope will make 450-500 at all four so do you guys think that I need the plate? NissanFreak

NurSpec: No offence taken, yes you can but for a R32 GTR in this condition you need to spend around 22-25k and also I am negotiable NF

BAILED: The tyres are brand new they are 2 x Pirelli P-Zero Asymetrico 275/35/18 2 x Kumho 235/40/18 I can have them fitted. For the tyres I would want an extra $900 fitted. They are brand new. NissanFreak

RU34ME: Anything is repairable as long as you have it done the right way and by the right person it can be as good or even better than when new. But whether it is worth fixing is another story all together.

In leaning to a join effort oil starvation/rob bolt failure

Well maybe the engine was just on its way out due to bearing wear, it is very hard to diagnose a failure like this on an engine which has been in use for some time. NXTIME when you say you had a problem with the engine what was the problem? and what did the workshop do to rectify this?

I know it doesnt help, but this is why I have a strong belief that workshops have their limitations since most of the specalist work engines/gearbox rebuilds is handled by a third party. I personally prefer to use 1) Dedicated engine builder 2) Good mechanic familiar with the car 3) Good tuner whether independant or a workshop

my opinoin is either 1) As stated by craved oil starvation caused a bearing to lockup 2) Rod bolts were not torqued to the correct specs meaning one of the bolts came loose causing the rod to jam on the crank as the crank turned it wedged the rod/piston against the bore and with no where to go the rod bent and i think it is safe to assume that the broken part of the conrods bigend is the part that put the hole in the block. Just my 2 cents
