    Picking up my rebuilt R33 GTR gearbox with an OS Giken Cross Gear Set fitted along with new bearing/synchros etc. What do you guys recommend the best oil to use is and id like a short shifter but do these put more strain on the box? Thanks guys

    Thanks guys, the tuner I am using was recommended by SydneyKid, the cams are HKS 272 IN/EX.

    Well il let you guys know how i go, im hoping to make 400-450 awkw on pump and then see how much it makes on race fuel. Just hope the OS Giken gearbox holds up

    havent asked the tuner as yet, the engine builder says 20psi max on pump but cant give me a power figure

    Guys, My engine will be finished shortly and i was wondering the boost i will be able to run on pump fuel, Optimax Extreme RB30 Bottom End RB26 Top End 9.0:1 CR T04Z 1.00 Ported HKS Cams etc THanks guys

    GTR mounts are very similar to the gts-t ones, another option is to elongate the holes which bolt to the block on the mount allowing the engine to sit lower, the solid mounts are an aftermarket thing which i will be using in my car, yes the engine will vibrate more through the car but will also transfer more power as the engine will not twist on the mounts causing a loss of power/response.

    Check the clearance between the sump and the crossmember that will tell you if you can lower the engine by modifying the mounts, you should have between 15-20mm clearance. I will be using solid mounts from Zennith Tunning which should allow me to sit the engine 5mm off the crossmember.

    Hi, Just wondering if anyone can tell me whether i will need the Sard RJ Fuel Regulator, or if the standard one will do. My engine is a 3litre RB26 and i am aiming for 450+kw thanks

    FLIP: $100 for the reg, the sard unit is needed becuase im upgrding the fuel rail aswell

    Guys, Ive got a used but as new Nismo Adj Fuel reg to suit RB engines as well as a HPC Chrome coated R32 GTR Fuel Rail. Upgrading to a billet fuel rail and Sard reg $250ono for both

    No way im spending 8k to find out that they are weak lol, im using a RB30 bottom end with the RB26 head so i was concerned over the extra torque that will be generated.

    cool, cheers guys. Ive got a OS Giken gearset being fitted as we speak someone mentioned the Getrag as an alternative so i thought id ask. All i need now is a R33 GTR front casing to save me modifying the R32 housing for a pull clutch
