ive heard from many bike riders that they have become better car drivers because of there bikr riding experience, probably the difference between life or death.

yes it does go under ignorence, and i was miss informed. and i do believe that i am an ignorent driver but not totally ignorant. i would like to undergoe a defensive driving course, as soon as i get my preffered car, and hopefull learn how to be a better driver.

bad drivers and knowing what your doing is wrong are 2 different things, ignorence is alot worse then risk taking. i do take that back about asian drivers, just a little generalising joke.

in Italy and Greece, you wernt allowed to take Learner lessons with your parents you had to take all of your lessons with a payed instructor wich is expensive after a while, but worth it. Also another thing that really shits me is the way we use our horn, in europe its a safety thing where u can warn people and that sought of thing, here we only use it to crack the shits and its bullshit!

its like this because the Aus government gives us no responsibility whatsoever, we are forced to act like robots ie; follow the speed limit, do what the sign says, POT HOLE? i dont know what your talking about!, i never had that one programmed into me? but hey the sign says 100! so better stick to it! Other countries are forced to learn how to drive and know when its safe to speed, not like here, there not fined for stupid things.

In italy they raised the speed a limit on a certain freeway from 150 to 170 for the reason that drivers are more alert.

See this is where i can already see the bad drivers in this forum. European drivers are smart people. JUST because the sign says 100 or 80 or whatever, doesnt mean you HAVE to go that fast. They would most likely slow down and drive a safe speed. There roads can be alot worse then any of ours, its no excuse. Think of there rocky roads, stone roads and all that.

man its so funny how much people will pay and wont pay for cars! I bought my 97 lancer for $4000 on the road (damaged and i fixed for that amount) they where valued at $8k at the time. i think i did an awsome deal! and they funny thing is i saw one a year older then me sold at the auctions for $8000. I freaked out!

Think of a country like Italy, with tourists stocks about 75million people at any time, the country is the size of Victoria, and the speed limits are much higher, and alot more dense. Now in ratio of our population to theres, we have an equal amount road toll. So i really disagree that we are good drivers.

Hey, people ive been over seas a couple of times but for long times, mainly to europe. i do recall that the driving style there was so much different to here. alot faster and pushier and people seemed to know how to drive, but we still seem to have a higher road toll per capita then these other countrys. especially that they are so cramped have alot higher speed free ways, suffer from natural disasters such as black ice and floods and snow. and especially the black ice one, imagine driving at around 170kmh and your car suddenly starts to drift away and spin around at that speed! with a few hundred cars travelling at the same speed behind you. please discuss people. would be nice to hear world travellers expieriences are Australians bad drivers?

i havnt seen R34's on sydney rd yet, but i have a restaraunt on St Georges Rd, and see alot of nice cars driving past all the time, have seen a nie black R34 with full bomex kit, P plater. and a yellow R34 with all gfx down the side as a P plater. also seen a Ferrari spider, he comes down pretty often,a dn yesterday i saw a mercialago lambaghini, howeever u spell that!

seen alot of R33 GTR's parked on sydney rd and driving along it, ive seen to many for my liking. now thr P plater R34's are coming along, and that sux arse to.

1/2 a tank of fuel left! obviosuly you didnt make the most of it! hehe i would live to drive down that road once i get my car.

i live in the back of my restaraunt at the moment, if i ever found anyone trying to break in i have a base ball bat beside my bed, now when you hit someone enough times across the legs, then there back and then there head, they tend to forget where they where breaking into after they wake up in a park down the road. thats if they wake up. so the law doesnt scare me one bit when it comes to this sought of shit. These people desrve no less.
