hi all nice turn out 2day i got quite a shock how many cars actually made the trip i've got some pics to post up just need to upload them first it was good to meet some new people maybe next time us newcastle people can organise a cruise down to meet all you sydney guys..

hey dave yea count me in on this don't know wat the otha half is doin but i'll be cruisin in my car for this one poor baby doesn't get taken for a run much anymore so this is the perfect time

ok so if your buying the car already in oz and complied the whole deal then it simply goes by what you pay the dealer for the car. if you were importing the car yourself you would have saved a packet but because its obviously already here i don't see anyway around that. obviously what you pay the dealer is it. please someone correct me if i'm wrong, but that is my understanding of it. its the same deal as if you bought an aussie car already owned by 30 odd people it goes by the actual purchase price of the car. wether it be from a car yard or private sale it goes by actual purchase price... but please if i'm wrong correct me..

yea as alexcim said you quote the price you actually paid for the car don't include shipping costs your only rippin yourself off there NSW rta asks for a receipt as proof of purchase price so I'm guessing it would be the same for other states

while we were still in town we saw the same cop pull ova quite a few skylines. so we all decided it was best to leave when we did I think it was a pick on skyline day

I bought my s1 from prestige all up it cost me 16,000 on the road with insurance but with all the other bits and pieces added to the car now as it sits it owes me at least 20,000 all i can say is you can't put a price on quality.......

my first car was a pulsar i have slowly gone up the ranks to include hyundai excel ef falcon toyota cressida with a lexus V8( which is currently for sale if anyone is interested) and my current car the family wagon (stagea)

were in... we'll be in the otha halfs car, mine doesn't get driven much anymore. how many of us are definates? so is it byo food and drinks or is that supplied at a cost? we can meet you guys at the servo at the end of the freeway if your going to re-group. let us know..

so is this cruise open to stageas? i still come from the nissan family... anyhow were from newy so we'll meet you guys when you regroup off the freeway.. any idea's on what tym or near abouts to what tym you will be nearing there? the other half is up for it too so he'll have his car as well. so add us to the list of definates mum's taxi and brizzi

ok you can count us in on this cruise. sounds like it will be an enjoyable drive provided the road has been upgraded since I last drove on it. lets just say potholes and coil overs do not go together very well a very costly mistake..... but either way were in not sure if we'll be in my car or the other halfs (brizzi) when you check out the roads let us know definate meet up times for us people that already live up that way maybe we can meet up somewhere say Maccas at Rutherford for a suggestion or elsewhere then arrange to meet up with the rest of the pack. just a suggestion..

ok at the moment i'm still in just a question which day have we decided on? saturday or sunday? depending on which day it is depends if i can make it. the other half has a car show on the sunday, and I have to make an appearence. let us know soon so I can organise baby sitters.

i spent the last 3 and a half months of my second pregnancy in plaster after our car accident. i drove the whole time i was in plaster of course it helped that the car was auto. my doctor didn't have a problem with it, so i'm guessing it wasn't illegal..

yea i would definately recommend TNT we used them for my otha halfs 32 they brought it to our front door from Adelaide and it was reasonably priced plus we could track it all the way if you want the best service for your buck use em.. i cannot fault them in anyway

yea they are... but if you are fortunate to know someone who is a panel-beater/ spraypainter by trade its not.... you've just gotta chase em down to do thats the only prob.......

oh man that sucks.. guess we wont be seein him round anymore. wat a shame, i would have liked to see how that conversion turned out..

the roads are just as bad up my way too.. in my otha halfs 32 i snapped the front passenger side coil-over clean in half. i felt sooo bad........ but the council did replace it

yea definately the weekend after easter i think (22/23) bit too hectic on the roads for me if you want it easter weekend don't know if i'll bring my rugrats though they go a little crazy when we go on a cruise bbq sounds good around newie somewhere let us know how it goe's with dates and times.

DAMH must be sumthin bout the way i drive. i filled up on wednesday mornin (optimax) and i got 270k's out of that tank (highway drivin and round town) i feel bad considering the k's you guys get out of a tank
