Hey all Up for sale is my 96 R33 Skyline. Its a manual Series 2 with 112,000klms that ive owned for the past 2 and a half years. I'm selling this because i can't afford it anymore and am buying a bike. This car has been awesome over the last few years, have had no trouble with it what so ever and runs like a dream. Always run on BP ultimate, just had the oil and oil filter changed. There are a few scratches around the body but nothing major. This car includes: full 3" exhaust going to blitz cannon Greddy fmic New clutch - heavy duty cushion button (About 3 months old) 17" AVS rims Apexi aftermarket suspension e-nardi steering wheel GTR body kit aftermarket reverse parking sensors turbo timer front and rear strut braces viper alarm system Ill also chuck in 4 x 16" stock rims with decent tread, pod filter, stock muffler and a blitz BOV It also comes with 12 months rego (until Feb 2010) and RWC. Any test is welcome. I'm looking for around $14,00 but am willing to negotiate and would love a quick sale. Give me a call and come have a look im located in S.E suburbs in Melbourne. Is This Apexi Suspension Height Adjustable?

I had a look today but couldn't really see anything like that but i really wouldn't know anyways. Is most apexi shocks adjustable or is it only certain types that you can adjust the height? My car looks like the back is raised more then the front so it has a kind of slanting to the front look. In the engine bay there are nuts that can be tightened on the top of the towers so i dont know what thats for? stiffness? Thanks -
Hey all As the topic states i have this Apexi suspension installed on my car. It came with it so i'm not quite sure if its height adjustable? i have found that there are dials on the bottom of the shocks that say hard and soft which im assuming refers to the stiffness, but not sure if you can adjust the height? Im not sure either if the numbers on it gives any clues. Also, i took a pic of inside the cabin at the top of the rear suspension tower but found there is like a cap covering where it finishes. I have included a pic of this aswell. Can i undo the 2 nuts to get to it? Any help is much appreciated. Traum

Yeah it would make sense for us to swap but firstly we are in different states, and obviously the km's would be different. I took mine back to the wrecker and he said he would swap it anyway, im sure you should do the same Joon. I did think of that Terry, it just goes back to that old saying of easier said then done.

I have the same problem but mine is the opposite. My odometer stopped working so i bought a new cluster from a wrecker, swapped the odometer parts and tried it out. It works fine but it shows half the speed im actually doing. ie when im going 60 it shows 30. I have a S2 manual and the replacement cluster i got was from an automatic, but i dont know if it was a seried 1 or 2 but either way its not working. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey all got some parts i need to get rid off. All are in perfect working condition. Apexi SAFC - Looking for around $200 but am open to offers. Comes with everything you see in the pic (wiring and loom etc just doesnt have a bracket) R33 Series 2 AFM - $100. Works fine thought it was faulty when car was getting tuned but found out it was the o2 sensor so not needed. R33 SMIC - Open to offers. Hey all Im after a stock exhaust for an R33 2 door. Would prefer the whole system (ie front pipe, cat and cat back) as i have full 3" at the moment so need it all to fit. Yeah this happened to me a couple of months ago. Was driving along and all of a sudden i look and see my petrol gauge start to drop pretty fast, i thought fark i got a major petrol leak somewhere so i pulled over and it went up to almost full again (where it should be), then it dropped again down to zero and went back up. After that it didn't do it anymore and hasn't done it since. Never worked out what it was but i don't think i have to now as its fine. I wouldn't worry about it to much but if it keeps happening you might wanna get it checked but i didn't. Traum

Yeah i reckon you should get them to fix the paint aswell, only if you dont intend on going back. I made 175rwkw with safc, stock turbo, 3inch dump and 3.5inch cat back,fmic, boost tap set at 9-10 psi and an aftermarket cat so your power sounds about right. Its the stock ecu thats holding it from 200, get an aftermarket ecu and up the boost a bit more and you will see the power you want, thats what im tryin to save for lol Traum

Yeah just get a new 02 sensor, mine was screwed when i got my car tuned after i got my SAFC put it and it kept causing inconsistant dyno runs. It would run something then 5 secs later the max power would drop or increse.

Yeah i guess if you got that power on stock fuel pump then itshouldnt matter, but mine could be stuffed. Wouldnt hurt changing it anyway its not that expensive compared to buying a new ecu. r33madd i gapped my spark plugs to .8 when i changed them after i got the car. Would changing them to .7 help? -
Hey im selling my series 2 afm, the reason i changed it is becasue the tuner thought it was stuffed so i got a new one then found out it was my 02 sensor that was rooted so this one is perfectly fine. Looking for around $100 Thanks, Traum

I think thats what happened to me, cause i had my boost set at 12psi but it was knocking so they had to drop it to 9-10. Do you think by getting a new fuel pump, putting the boost back up to 12 and getting it dyno'd again will get me to 200? -

I noticed alot of the ppl with power around the 200+kw are the ones with upgraded fuel pumps, while me and say recce have bout 170-180. Seems like that should be the next thing on the list to get done? you guys reckon thats the reason for the increase in power? Traum -

I got a 96 R33 running 175.2kw @ about 9 - 10psi using BP Ultimate SAFC: SAFC GearBox: MT Turbo: Factory Exhauset: Turboback Air Filter: pod Injectors: Factory Intercooler: Greddy 600x300x76 Fuel Reg: Stock Fuel Pump: Stock Boost Controller: Turbotech Bleed BOV: Blitz atmo I was running 12psi after the bleed valve went in so thats when i got the SAFC and when it was getting tuned there was heaps of knock in the mid range so they had the back the boost down to 9-10psi but the SAFC worked well to lean the mixtures out. r33madd you got nice power from that setup did you reckon the fuel pump got you more power?
