Hey! I got a gigant problem on my hands, i own a 93 r33 gtst, that recently has started acting weird, just clicking when i turn the key. First off i thought it was the battery beeing low, but according to the batteryloader the battery is full, and it still doesnt work. I have tried 2 different batteryloaders. Another weird thing is when i turn the key the dashlights turn on as they should, but i still cant unlock the passengerdoor and i cant get the windows to move! Yesterday when leaving work, it didnt start, so i used cables from the bosses car to load the battery, but it didnt react at all, then after ac couple of keyturnings the starterengine started spinning and it was back to normal. Later on i was going to leave home, and the car didnt react at all, so some friends came over and pushed the car, trying to jumpstart it, and that worked. When i bought the car i found a little japanese box under the dash, called ComTec BeTime a-21, found some info on it, and it seems to be a caralarm, but the controller didnt come with the car. Some babelfish-translated info: "With remote control engine start The turbo timer which can be chosen from OFF 30 seconds 1 minute 5 minutes 10 minutes 20 minutes 30 minutes 40 minute change warmth hours As for remote control life waterproof anti-bacterial specification" I took a picture of it hoping someone might be able to tell me if that is the problem, or if the battery actually is bad, and im just unlucky when it comes to batteryloaders. Cheers! -David

Heres How She Looks Now

THX all! Yea the GT-Wing does give the police something to complain about, had one of those encounters with a 2.5 meter tall policeman yelling in my face that the wing was a high-risk thing, where ppl could get cough and dragged by the car.. Or if i hit someone he would fly over the roof and get cought and get even more hurt. I dont know whats best, flying over the car and get cought in the wing, OR flying over the car (would probably have sustained severe injury just getting hit by the car) and straight down in the pavement... Anyways, i do not have a GTR-badge on the boot, cant say posing is my favourite way to go... -

Heres How She Looks Now

Thx! I dont know what grill it is, came with the car, but heres a closeup, bad quality though. The thing about the wing was painting it in the same bright silver, except for the middle part, and painting that in the darkgrey color, might look odd though Cheers! -

Thx, hehe, well i've already got Recaro seats, HKS induction kit, HKS EVC III, HKS turbotimer, trust quickshift, nismo coilovers & springs, cusco powerbar and so on, so im in no hurry -
So i've finally got my hands on some new wheels Its Tsw Truxton 19's, width 8 in front and 9,5 on the rear Now im thinknig of going with a GTR-wing painted in the color of the car, but with the wing-plan painted in the same darkgrey color as the lower part of the car, so what do you think? Should i go GTR-wing or not? Heres a photo of how she looks now! Cheers!

brother_david replied to brother_david's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Thanks for the comments! The pic should work... Im thinking of going (they're coming without tires) 225/35/19 in front, and 265/30/19 on the rear. Cheers! -
I would lie if i said im not happy Called a guy today about some wheels hes was selling, and checked if the still had them, and luckily he did! So now they're hopefully showing up tomorrow, or the day after that. Its 19" TSW Truxton , 8" and 9.5" wide. Heres a pic of them on the former owners car Cheers! -David

When i received my car (a 94 R33 gtst type m) from Japan, i live in Sweden, it had no boostcontroller, but it still boosted more then 1 BAR, up to 15-16 psi on higher gears. When i unplugged the stock pressure-regulator (sitting near the airfilter) it started boosting the way i've read it should stock, like 4-5 psi, then getting higher above some rpm. I've installed a HKS EVC III, but i still cant let the weird behavior go, so does anyone have an idea of how this could be? I dont know if this says anything, but shouldnt my turbocompressor house say 45V1, it says 45V2 - though those were the not all that good SII plastic wheel-turbos? Cheers! -David

How To Know If Cracked Head Or Gasket?
brother_david replied to SXC_R33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I guess this wont help, but anyway... Had the same prob on my BMW, the earlier owner had changed headgasket, rebuild the head, and changed cooler along with some other things, when i bought it. It acted the way you describe, but there werent any oil in the water etc, and if it idled for a somewhat long while it started to stutter, and the water in the overflow bottle started bubble. Someone mentioned i should check if there were air in the watersystem, and there were some, got it out and now its a whole lot better. Probably wont help you but who knows, it might -
Got aftermarket clutch, and a airflow meter, hopefully i wont have to invest in new injectors to soon, but if i have to, ill just switch the turbo back until i get them, anyways, we'll see how it goes Cheers

Im receiving a KKR 480 in a couple of weeks, i can post the progress and results here. Im running a R33 GTST, 3" turbo back-exhaust, hks induction kit, hks EVC III and Denso sparkplugs, will probably get another in-tank fuelpump (i have an in-line fuelpump altough it isnt fitted), and a FPR. Cheers!

Did deffinetly not think that that video would end up here! The 740 TIC is a very popular car to tune, and VERY cheap to buy (atleast here in sweden ) Another link to the hi-res download: http://racemovie.mine.nu/moviedetailed.php?id=43ba92e0b8b86

What Wheels Should I Go With?
brother_david replied to brother_david's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Ok, you've convinced me Im going for 18s! So, so far i've got 1 vote for nr 2, and 1 vote for nr 4. To bad nr 1 doesnt exist in 19", cause that would have looked nice! But they might look a bit less good in 18". I would probably gone for nr 4, if it had a wider lip, but now im not sure... -
What Wheels Should I Go With?
brother_david replied to brother_david's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Yep, thats me Well, the main thing i worry about with 19s is that the car might look a bit offroad since its not 'show-low'. -

What Color Should I Go With?
brother_david replied to brother_david's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I've made a testpic to get an idea of how the rims work with the stock KL0-color of my car, and with decals, the car has actually got darkgrey lower parts of bumpers and sideskirts, modded that in the pic, aswell as removed the GT-Wing i have (dont like it although would maybe be nice to paint it in the same color as the decals...). Check it out at: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...php/photo/22497
