haha....yeh nah not too concerned about fuel economy, just seeing roughly what i was getting myself in for...i do roughly 450k's a week so if im using almost 2 tanks a week just to get to work then im looking at bout $150-160 in petrol...haha, GOOD TIMES! yeh i've read a few of those threads, so ill hopefully get it....but i've had pretty sh#t luck with the car so i wont be surprised if i only get 270-280rwkw...

yeah im pretty sure ive got a bosche 040 at the moment...but just to be sure ill replace it with a new one just before i get it tuned...haha, 200-250k's on a full tank! CRAP

Hi guys, Obviously there are quite a few guys on here making that kind of power....so i was just wondering how much petrol do you use? I plan on getting my car tuned and want to make around 300-330rwkw's but kos its my everyday car i just want to know roughly how many k's im gonna be getting out of my tank.... And i may as well ask at the same time if you guys think i should be able to achieve my target with the following mods.... - Rebuilt engine (forged internals, etc) - Garrett GT2860r -5's - Trust cams 264" 9.1mm lift (not yet installed) - Adjustable cam gears (not yet installed) - 550cc injectors (not yet installed) - Z32 AFM's (not yet installed) - X-Force dump/front pipes - 3.5" Kakimoto exhaust - Power FC (still need to get) - Turbosmart eBoost2 (still need to get) So im hoping with this set up ill be able to get 300-330rwkw with about 18-20psi..... Hey guys, My cars playing up again, its been turning off on me when i put the clutch in and choking/hesitating when it hits about 2500rpm. it only happens when the cars been driven for a bit (about 25min) so we hooked up a snap-on diagnostic tool and it reported that my afms are short/open circuit. the car drives like a pig when it malfunctions so i thought i beta get it sorted ASAP.... So i was just wondering if anyone has some afm's for sale? Im hoping thats all thats wrong with it! Cheers!

hey thanks guys.....yeh i should have looked up in the group buy section! i would have found out about arospeed cam gears! but i ended up buyin the spool ones lastnight....all well hopefully they are just as good.....

Hey guys, I found these cam gears on eBay but not too sure about them.....Are cam gears just cam gears or are they all different? With the 1st link (Spool Brand) they say it has 1 degree of adjustment and the 2nd link (Arospeed) Im pretty sure it has 2 degrees of adjustment, so im assuming that the Spool branded ones might be a little more accurate to tune in (but then again i no nothing about cam gears!) Again, thanks for the advice guys but now i was jus wonderin wat you guys thought about buyin 2nd hand z32 AFM's? is it risky? do they often f**k out? ie. age? oh yeah, an i forgot to add......is it risky to buy a 2nd hand power fc? nice one, thanks for the advice fellas....... now i think ill go for the z32's but theres another question i need to ask....... what are your thoughts on 2nd hand ones? i know im beta off goin new but i can get a pair of 2nd hand ones for $500.....but im affraid with the luck ive had that they will f*k out on me, as usual........ but do z32 AFM's have the tendancy to f*k out?

yeah im running apexi pods at the moment but i dont think its the same ones in that ad....does that kit include the pipe that goes from the pod to AFM and AFM to turbo?i cant really remember what they look like as i have only had the car on the road for about a 2 weeks in the last 10 months.......

Hey guys, Im thinkin about gettin bigger AFM's but dont know which one to go for.....which would you use Nismo or Z32? i was gonna get Nismo because of convenience but a workshop told me to not waste my time an to go for the z32's but then i would have to change the piping that connect to the AFM's..... Does anyone know how much that will cost or who to recommend in canberra to do the piping? Cheers guys.
