hi amaru, im payin bout 1200ish for the crank...supposedly its brand new from japan....yeh he's usin arp bolts... yeh ive got a couple of garrett gt2860r -5's to put on... yeh i no its a smarter/cheaper move if i do the r32 crank but its jus the fact that its a new crank that gets me...but then again i should b listenin 2 u guys kos u guys no wat ur talkin bout an then il actually start saving some money...

hey guys, johns managed to find me an r34 crank from japan so there goes that problem (knock on wood) but now decidin whether or not i should stick with stock rods or forged 1's, he said he can get me forged 1's for bout another $1000, wat do u guys think? thanks, an sorry 2 keep askin q's but much appreciated...

hi guys, i was jus wonderin...how strong is the r32 crank??? should i wait 4 a brand new r33 crank or should i get an r32 crank an put a jun crank collar on it? the person rebuildin my engine doesnt think i should use an r32 crank kos he thinks it mite crack due to its age...wat do u guys think? cheers.

hi guys, i was jus wonderin if any1 has a spare r33 crank out there? i found out yesterday that austarlia an nissan japan r out! every1 is waitin for the back order in japan but they havent told any1 how long the wait is...so my engine rebuild has come to a halt...so i have 4 options... 1. wait till the back orders r ready (which have been told that it could take either jus weeks or months!) an do the rebuild... 2. get a 2nd hand r32 crank in good cond. an put a jun crank collar on an continue with the rebuild...but have been told its nots recommened kos bein 2nd hand crank it could crack at any time... 3.for about $6000-6500 i can get an r33 rb26dett put in with an exchange 4 my old engine...not sure wat condition the r33 engine is in an also only get 3 month warranty with it... 4.for about $9000 i get the r33 engine put in an also keep my old engine...again get 3 months warranty... so wat do u guys think? which option should i go for? or obviously if i can get a new crank all 2gether than ill take that option... thanks 4 the advice guy...

nice 1, thanks guys...looks like the stock 1 will cope then dont think ill b makin 2 much power, but i mite b able 2 get hold of a 2nd hand pwr core 4 $500...not sure of the dimensions tho but have been told it should bolt on 2 the original piping? what do u guys think? an how good is the stock piping anyway??? thanks.

hi guys, i bought an r32 gtr on sunday an on monday i took it 4 a drive...i started 2 hear a knockin noise comin from the engine wen i was changin gears, by lunch time it was knockin 4 a little bit while idling an by night time it was constantly knockin (fairly loud) while drivin an idling!!! i hopin its jus the lifters or somethin small but not feelin 2 confident bout it... would any1 have any suggestions??? who should i take it 2??? an what bout an engine rebiuld? who would u guys recommend 2 rebuild engines? i dont have the money 4 a rebuild but was jus wonderin who in canberra would be good for future purposes... cheers...
