  7. Autobahn will do it... however i wont be taking my car there again... otherwise strathfield might do it depends on your location and whats/whos available
  8. Right from the horses mouth: "Changing to the higher frequency range is easily done by changing the capacitor values in the filter. The 6.8nF capacitors in the high pass filter become 5.6nF and the 3.3nF to 2.2nF and the 12nF to 10nF for the low pass filter." This has come from the designers of the Jaycar Kit KC5444 to achieve a frequency band of 6-6.5Khz high pass to 8-8.5Khz low pass. consult this diagram to get a better picture or things - Knock Schematic Zurlox
  9. i assume you mean 20Amp fuse not "V", but what i would do is to find the fuse on the amplifier and make that the value of your power line in fuse (in the box), for example my amplifier will draw 25Amps before its internal fuse will blow, so there is no point having a 40Amp fuse in the power feed line cos it will never blow unless there is a short in the wiring before the amplifier. you may want a new box, but some electrical tape is just as good ...so long as it is sealed from foreign objects. hope that makes sense :S
  10. Just remember that for the fuse to blow there has to be something seriously wrong with the wiring, like a short to ground, fuses dont tend to blow for no reason, so replacing it might not solve your problem, youll just end up with a pile of blown fuses. and dont do what alot of people do, and stick a bigger fuse in to stop it from blowing!
  11. Update: i got the knock kit from jaycar, but the frequency band is wrong, it detects noise within 4.8Khz to 6.4Khz, which is too low, i am looking for a band of about 6.5Khz to 9Khz, so in order to achieve this i need to change a couple resistors. the one you change are the 2.7K resistor (inbetween the two 5.6K resistors top right of board) and i changed it to a 1.6K resistor to beef up the low pass filter, the other one you change is the 10K resistor (inbetween two 6.8nF caps top middle of board) and i changed it to a 12K resistor. Now i havnt confirmed these changes but they should be pretty close
  12. Usually in neutral, but if on a hill/incline reverse cos if someone runs up the arse it will only destroy reverse gear and you still have the full forward range
  13. Thanks mate, please to lock
  14. Hey i just bought an engine that came with the dump pipe but the only markings i can see are the numbers on the side, no brand name etc. i have done a search and couldnt seem to come up with anything, any clue as to what brand/type of dump pipe this is? if your having trouble reading the markings, it says "MN31 24" then in the stamped circle to the right it says "22", on the opposite side it has got markings reading "20P" Thanks for your help, Zurlox
  15. Fitted mine last night, looks great! Feedback left NYTSKY, Thanks Mate
  16. i ended up getting the 5bar map sensor for free next time i will!
  17. What the hell...ill grab a set
  18. will they fit 32gtst? ta
  19. if your spraying water around the aac valve wouldnt that try and suck it in?
  20. i dont think it has any relation to boost, its just idle control, if its leaking it might have higher than normal idle speed
  21. if its still tight...possibly not, but always check the pitch on the bolt first, say the pitch is 1.25mm, (assuming im correct) one complete revolution equals a movement of 1.25mm, so 5 turns would work out to be 6.25mm of movement!
