Hey anyone know were I can get a bracket for my Pod filter? (R33 GTS-T) Rather have something that looks half decent as apose to a home made job. So that I don't get knocked back by the pits AGAIN!!!

Hey Mitchy the rims you gave me are the same ones Ive got spewing!But anyway my old man is taking the car through tmrw morning with my factory rims on and Ive shown my old boy WHERE IT SAYS 16X6.5 so they can't not pass me now.Third time lucky!And on the inside of were your front door closes it has the manufacturers specifications for wheels sizes 16X6.5 so hopefully they can put two and two together

Yeah I'm sure I could probably weasel my way out of it with some kind of loop hole but seriously at the end of the day if some old c**t thinks he is right then he aint going to let some young bloke push him around so to be honest I'd rather just borrow some rims with tyres on them and after my car has been past through the pits I'm going to fire bomb the joint...ha ha nah jokes. Hey dude just go to Mettams exhaust and tell them you want a 3inch System from the turbo back (down/dump pipe, high flow cat , the works.) and you can choose a nice cannon style muffler or watever you want on the end. They did a killer job on my R33 for $1100.My car basically went from not much wheel spin in the dry to BLAZING and it doesn't hang down like them ricer jobs and isn't going to atract the cops with excessive decibels.

Yo, Took my car through the pits for the second time with my factory rims on or what I believe to be factory rims (5 spoke with NISSAN across them) AND BECAUSE THEY WERE 7.5 INCHES ACROSS AND NOT 7 INCHES THEY WOUDLN'T PASS IT (WANKAS) I don't understand the car was complianced here in WA so shouldn't it have met the standards then??? But any way I just need to find out what 7inch rims or less will go on my R33 GTS-T(I could use the compliance argument against them but I don't want to open a can of worms and possibly risk making my car illegal all together ) ....Ford Falcon?Does anyone know what rims might fit?I would be willing to pay$ just to borrow a set of 6-7inch rims with tyres to get this bloody saga over and done with. Hey thanks for the info!!! Well I went through this morning and the old bloke who checked my car was pretty alright!He even said that it was a nice little car (phew...) All I got to do is put the factory springs and wheels back(luckly I kept these things) on and secure the pod filter and she is done. As soon as I get the all clear I'll be chucking my Lovells and ROH's straight back on. Atleast I've got piece of mind now that my car isn't too illegal lol. Lesson learnt; keep on top of your paper work!!! TWISTED INDIVIDUAL....rinsin it out!

Hi ppl Looks like Ive been driving round in an un registered car and I can't prove that I have paid for my six months rego even though Ive got the sticker on my car which expires (Sept 2006) It is possible that 12 months ago I was given a 12month rego sticker and only paid for 6 as I don't have any receipts and Ive followed up all other possible avenues to prove I paid but can't find anything .So it looks like Im going to have to put it over the pits here in WA to get it re-registered.Does anyone know what I can expect? Ive got an R33 GTS-T with the following mods :FMIC intercooler from just jap with the reasonable tank and shit piping (looks a bit rough and hole in car body were piping goes through) -Pod filter (loose, not in bracket) -Custom built exhuast (turbo back) -Lowered but not rediculous -mags, stagered size and tyres (235's+265's) Am I looking at big $$?

Stock boost, haven't touched it possibly gone up a little on it's own as these mods did give me quite a bit more power. Gamit you got a new ECU for yours?Piggy back?

Hi Ive got an R33 96 GTS-T and about two months ago it developed a problem were under full load or there abouts say 4500rpm-6000rpm it seems to be not getting enough fuel or there is some kind of restriction going on which severely impacts the most powerfull part of the gear range and consequently slows my car down it's as if the cutting out is all in time and makes a pretty chopped up sound as it's doing it hence the restriction. Does any one know what this could be or had anything like this before?I notice it's much worse when the air is colder, perhaps to much air and not enough fuel?Also if it is a governing device why has it started to work only recently, change from summer to winter, colder air, more horsepower?? I have the following mods if it helps at all? Large FMIC Turbo back 3" exhaust Pod filter & home job cold air intake (PVC up into the Pod) Any advice would be appreciated cheers

Maybe your fuel pump is stuffed?I had something like what you described took it straight to the mechanics and after pressure testing (fuel system) it needed a new pump.

I'm getting a Bar and plate core - 600 x 300 x 76 intercooler installed.My vehicle is near stock standard apart from full 3inch exhaust system(turbo back) and a air filter upgrade.Can I expect a decrease in Power due to a pressure drop over the early part of the RPM range??Will I get better top end performance?Or should I be installing a boost controller to alleviate these possible problems?Any help would be greatly appreciated!
